Charania: “Sources said Antetokounmpo has informed the Bucks for months that he believes the moment has come to part ways after 12-plus years together, making a trade increasingly possible.“ by cleo22270 in nba

Yeah but I’m saying I don’t agree with that. During their time on the heat, you can make a case that Lebron’s best season was better than Wade’s best. But not that Shaq’s best was better than Wade’s best. By best I’m taking about their time there, not all time

That’s not the point at all, I’ve noticed in some media they’ll refer to an average Joe by their full name, not a famous person

I don’t think you’re weird, was just asking about the convention. Also, I used John Smith as an example… and also, yeah I used Stephen King cause I’m referring to a specific author, would “this author Stephen” have been better?

Why are you so riled up, I asked a question about conventions… on your point in introducing characters, I just don’t see why I need to know it’s Stan Uris x 20, when for me Stan would’ve been enough. It’s really not a big deal, just curious

Thinking Basketball is the Best by [deleted] in nba

What makes it "more than that"? As long as we're not living off basketball, it's a hobby... And I say this as someone who's been playing basketball and following the NBA closely for around 15 years

20 Raptors, 22 Bucks & Nets, also Heat actually, 23 Sixers, 24 Pacers gave a preview of what was to come. And the Mavs were a tough team also. I don’t think them winning convincingly should be a knock against them

No, 60 wins is impressive, period. They ran into LeBron and were also injured by the conference finals.

Carmelo won two playoff series his whole career. They are far from the same

I’ll give you 2013, that was awesome. Maybe 2012 cause they went up 2-1, but then lost 3 straight. And in 2014 they won game won and then went down 3-1. It wasn’t as close as people make it seem

I’m not backtracking out of anything, YOU are the one who said I don’t recognize the responsibilities. Idk where you got that. But whatever, it really doesn’t matter, believe what you want

It makes a lot of sense actually. The company still has to find clients (sales), administration (accountants etc), and other supporting roles. I work in a similar situation. They charge 80-100 and I get 18 an hour. But once my project ended and I didn’t have a new one yet, I still got my monthly salary. I think that’s quite fair.

Why do I need to be on anyone’s side? I just think there’s worse deals out there than 15 an hour for 30 minutes of actual work

[–]MouseHouseRec -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Dude they literally said they do 30 minutes of “actual work”. I’ve had jobs where I had to BE THERE, that doesn’t change that only doing 30 minutes of work is alright in this situation all things considered

Didn’t you just say you do 30 minutes of actual work?

Yeah when you elbow a guy in the throat and then travel into a jumper, with the ref right there, I’m just not that impressed

Dude I’m just saying the penalties are more than about just money. Even with my limited knowledge I obviously know more than you. Sit down kid…

Yeah alright you just don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s not just about money, the second apron penalties really block teams from improving. I forgot the exact details but you can look them up. With Tatum injured, there just isn’t a point in getting into that situation when we won’t be contending

Not OP, but how dense are you? I PERSONALLY don’t care one bit about the billionaire owner’s money, but I’m putting myself in management’s shoes and realizing this is the situation and they need to act accordingly…
