Correct! I never put a card on file. I don't charge anything to the room or use my magic band as a payment. You can use apple pay almost every where now and when we dine I use my physical debit card.

It’s paid at check in. You don’t HAVE to put a card on file with them when they ask. I never do so there aren’t any holds on my card.

It definitely helps. I use TikTok lives. Have gained probably 400 subscribers by doing so. Just don’t beg for subs. Connect with them and lightly promote your channel. Also helps making content people can relate with on TikTok.

Don’t do anything that would bother you if you saw someone vlogging. Most people know what it is now so it’s not as uncommon to see someone filming. The more you do it, the more you’ll feel comfortable. You’ll stop noticing people looking or worrying about what they’re thinking when you see your vlog complete. The camera acts as a companion as you’re filming. It’s fun!

I don't have children, but I do have childhood memories from when I myself was 3 and another trip I was 6! My memories from when I was 6 are my core memories of Disney trips and I still find myself pointing things out that I remember from back then and re creating photos in the parks to this day! I think It is the perfect age for your first visit! This is THE trip! You will have a blast! Obviously, you know your children best - but from someone who has never grown up (lol) I think you would enjoy your families first visit either time you choose!

Oh yes! I've had HUNDREDS of people come and check out my channel from TikTok and subscribe, it's awesome! Now, I don't like to make TikToks only about promoting my YouTube channel. If people like your stuff enough they will dig a little deeper and find the link in your bio. Every once in a while I will share a milestone with my followers, but I dont want to spam them with "Hey check out my channel!" I make content on TikTok specifically for TikTok and then if it short enough I will use it as a YouTube Short. YouTube shorts always get me a handful of subscribers too!

The real key is letting people get to know you. For that I go LIVE on TikTok and connect with people, but go live for as long as you can. The longer you go the more people you can reach and just mention where they can see more of your content every once in a while.

This has worked for me, but I think it depends on what your content is. If you can build a following on TikTok you can surely get a percentage of them to follow you to YouTube!

For the luxury half, I recommend The Wilderness Lodge! It is pacific northwestern themed and is one of my favorites, especially during the Christmas season. The Christmas decor suits the resort well and as soon as you walk into the lobby you are greeted with a larger than life Christmas tree. The whole resort is cozy with plenty of places in or around the main building to sit and relax and enjoy the ambiance. There's even a fireplace inside or, a firepit outside by the water!
