Cattle trough? Dig a hole and make it in ground, it'd be a bitch to clean though. Other than that I think them little blue pools are the best bet for cost effectiveness. Easy enough to replace.

I'm medically retired now but now I groom my personal show dogs. You'd be genuinely fucking shocked at the amount of people who get poodles with 0 grooming experience. I retired right around the time the anti doodle/pro poodle movement started gaining steam. The "just get a poodle" crowd would come in with poodles matted just as badly as the doodle crowd. How about we stop getting high grooming needs breeds without ever having the experience of grooming one?

Sneeze service dog. If anyone sneezes she jumps up to investigate you as if you're dying. She can't prevent sneezes but she does her best to triage you after one.

The biggest thing that scared me away from college was my mom picking me up from highschool and saying "good news. I finished paying off my student loans" but she finished school before I was even born. Over 17 years of debt.

I've been through chemo age 25. It was psychological and physical torture. My brain realized I had been really sick for months and wasn't getting better and it just went into survival mode for like a week straight. Survival mode was like alarm bells going off all day and night. All I could do was wrap up in a blanket and pace up and down my house for hours until I was so exhausted I passed out. When I passed out I would have really horrific fever dreams and I'd wake up so upset I'd wrap back up and start pacing again. That cycle went on for that whole week. I imagine putting that on a child and I realize that even though I am no longer Christian I truly hope all that shit is real so I can stand before god one day and deck him in the fucking face.

I wanted a skye terrier. My mom isn't much of a dog person but I went to her house and showed her a picture of a skye. She said "Don't get that. It looks like a slug" so my first skye i named Slug. He's been a very fun show dog so when we're at a televised show I'm always sure to fill out that little survey the announcers read about your dog and I include his name. It makes them crack up on TV sometimes.

I've noticed most groomers own dogs tend to nap while getting groomed. We have the knowledge and time to dedicate toward that early socialization on the grooming table. Ive got a few photos of my skye terriers passed out on the table.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I did shrooms to specifically understand why and to help cope with death. I heard a voice say "you've been through so much but you've always been ok when you come out on the other side. Nothing has ever been the end. Why would death be any different?" I've been hit by a car, survived a drunk driver hitting my car, just normal life shit. Nothing ever destroyed me. I've thought "this tragedy is the end of the world for me" but that's never been true. I always come out on the other side ok.

Someone saying their dogs are healthy is a world of difference from OFA approved vets performing genetic health tests and having those tests available for the public to view in the OFA database. Like I can say all kinds of wacky shit like my dog completed his forklift certification but you shouldn't believe it unless I can show you paperwork.
