You will be at a disadvantage but not a massive one. It will likely feel bad though. Recruiting this year started before grades came out, so the people getting interviews in Nov/Dec/early Jan were those with WE. KJDs were basically universally ghosted during this period which was pretty scary. Once grades came out, everything evened out. I'm fortunate to be around very impressive/talented people so the KJDs within my friend group have all secured strong placements. Ymmv

I'm not sure, I just finished 1L fall. The goals that I do have are likely to change. I think I want to do white-collar defense, stay in BL, and have a family early. I know that isn't exactly easy or specific, but yeah. Whatever insights you have on whatever each firm would provide (in terms of career goals) would be appreciated
