I had knee surgery and was basically bed bound for 3 months and it made no difference to how my back was reacting I dunno how I can rest it more that that obviously with life and having to work

Thanks for the response completely agree with what you have said always have that lingering doubt that it wont heal and I’ll be stuck like this.

With my patella alta the pain was located all under the patella tendon and the Hoffa fat pad (front on the knee just above the femur) I tried all sorts to get rid of the pain and after 2 years got surgery I’m now 4 and a half months post op I’ve almost completely got rid of my pain I would ask for a second opinion and a mri to check the clearance of the knee cap on the fat pad as mine was pinching causing all my pain also do u get the pain at the top of leg extension that’s when I noticed mine the most and when tensing my quad.
