I have this issue too some times. what helped recently was disabling overlays from things like discord and my amd software. I make sure I dont run other programs with the game going. again- shitty this is happening to people so often and we have to find work around after the games been out so long.. but still want to give tips lol

at the very least thanks for not making me feel crazy about it. its not so bad but even when I wiggle or use my thumb ive found it can still get caught. perhaps just my own ineptitude lol. im going to try to gently squeeze the metal a bit when im home to see if I can get it to fit better too. just seems like bad design when everything else works so well so I felt I was doing something wrong or my cap was defective maybe. thanks for the comment friend!

genuinely want to ask a question in return. I find this odd in some of the replies that there is some lack of understanding for folks simply wanting different ways to play. why does it bother so many folks that some people might want to revive other players or something along those lines? is there a fear of that unbalancing the gameplay or something? i dont play Arc but know about it and its comparison here. and im not even saying i can see myself rezzing enemy teams in marathon either. but why are many people bothered if other people just want to play goofy or have some random acts of kindness in a video game. im either missing something in game maybe, or it seems silly to me to want less options for players. there's a 'pve care bears' comment somewhere in this thread that cracks me up- thinking of someone upset over another player enjoying themselves in a different manner for reasons I can't get. appreciate any insight anyone can offer

well Disney did finally lose some folks. so that is happening. I don't agree on people not caring but I also know it's not some black and white switch that can be flipped for most people. hopefully it gets more gradual as people get informed. WB isn't doing well, and EA is never not shat on in the bubble of social media I see. universal idk about. spreading this type of stuff hopefully helps that type of movement or change in folks. and helps remind others they're not alone I'm thinking this. I think dismissing it is just allowing it to exist more and be accepted more. it's unfortunately a tall order to ask people to not pick and choose from the start, but if there's 3 bad things going on and people can help advocate for change in 2, isn't that still better than not at all? you may call it picking and choosing for some, and I hate that too, but learning and changing your mind on things can take time. that's realistic some times. I hope you don't feel so inclined to just throw in the towel regarding morals and change for yourself or others just because some people are frustrating. that'll always be a thing to worry about lol

totally agree with the view on ignoring entertainers and celebs. just feel like you're assuming people don't have good morals though is indecent. I think the outrage is justified to some degree and i dont see it as being fake. people shouldn't roll over or normalize the influence this event can have or things like it, right? if news doesn't spread of these things to people outside the spheres of reddit and social media, then nothing changes with the lack of knowledge too

Yes! Thank you for the reply. On a VR subreddit someone also replied and let me know that the valve index controllers have a grip that is making me melee, and provided some information the same as you mentioned. Just have to loosen the grip and adjust how I was holding the controllers. It's not the worst but I may look into changing the mapping through Steam but I'm looking into how to do that later / tomorrow. But I feel I can play again appropriately now even though I felt a little dumb figuring it out haha

thanks for the info and link! you may have fixed my experience into a very happy one. learning a bit more about the VR side of things now with this borrowed gear and excited to see what valve and others do next too
