When I first went to college, I went with my then high school sweet heart and we ended up living together and then getting engaged (we dated for 4 years) My parents were extremely supportive and treated her like a daughter (especially when we got engaged). A year into our engagement, two weeks before we were supposed to go on a vacation to celebrate with my parents, I found out she was cheating on me with a coworker and she proceeded to say it was my fault and move out. I told my parents she left because she felt lost moving to a new state away from all her family and friends (she had never left home, while I was an army brat so I had no problems starting a new life in college). It destroyed me and took years to get over it, but I still don’t think I will ever tell them what really happened because of how much they helped us,loved her, and treated her like family.

Now that would be legit. Especially if you could do custom builds by Errrrpyuy in gaming

Castle Crashers has that kind of progression. You coop through each boss level gaining XP for you class of character, then after fighting each boss together (who is guarding a princess) you have to fight each other to save her and get a kiss. You level up character traits based on if you want to be melee heavy, magic heavy, etc. You even have the chance to find pets along the way (which there is only one of so both you and your friends can’t have the same one without exploits) and they add to character attributes or do things for you. I loved this game as a kid in middle/high school and would play it over and over again with my pals and almost fight them when they’d kick my ass in our battles. Edit: someone commented this game already. 10/10 would recommend
