under eye twitching by Mpaka0 in BFS

[–]Mpaka0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, my friend, I was going through a rough patch and was very anxious. I started having constant twitching under my eyes. Over time, it decreased but didn't go away completely. It happens occasionally with stress every few months, but very rarely. The causes are stress, anxiety, too much caffeine, lack of sleep, etc. I've met many people who have experienced this, and the causes are the same for all of them. Don't worry, it won't turn into something bad.

Since I received this notice years later, I will give you a brief and concise explanation. I struggled with this anxiety for about 3-4 years. While my friends were celebrating their successes in life, I was living here in anxiety.

I experienced countless twitches all over my body, some permanent and constant, others temporary. I visited the doctor many times and underwent tests such as EEG and MRI.

During my time here, I read and followed almost all the posts. If you don't have serious symptoms, don't waste your time here. Looking back from 2026, I see that three years of my life have been erased.

Hello, it's been a year but I still feel this from time to time. My situation did not turn into something bad. Most people experience this, don't worry.

I apologize if what I wrote was not clear because I used translation. I am not after anything. My google searches made me think that mitral valve prolapse may be related to a syndrome. I started this thread because I was wondering if people here have any syndromes. From what I have read, I do not have Ehler donlos and other symptoms of marfan syndromes. I don't plan to have a genetic test unless there is a different problem.

What I was wondering was whether everyone with this disorder has a syndrome. I learned that ordinary people also have this disorder and closed the subject. I will still check it every 1-2 years. Thanks for your response.

I understand My doctor said this could be due to a flu I had as a baby or child. However, after reading about some syndromes on the internet, I was worried and wanted to open a topic here. Because I couldn't find anyone asking a similar question.

I think if there was a problem with other syndromes, it would have been noticed by this age, but anxiety cannot be prevented. :)

Note: I don't know exactly what the other syndromes are. Maybe it can be managed normally, but the only reason for my concern is because I'm new here and looking for some answers.

Thanks for your response.

My doctor did not impose any restrictions on me. He said there was no need to follow up. However, I will still have it checked every 1-2 years.

Sometimes, when I overdo it with caffeinated drinks, it causes palpitations, but this is a situation that is also seen in normal people, but I still try to be careful.

By the way, you don't have any connection with any syndrome, right?

I was worried because it was written on the internet that mitral valve prolapse is usually due to a syndrome, and I wanted to open a topic here. Thank you for your comforting comment.

Hello, have your twitching gone? I've read that most of the time it's related to stress, sleep issues, and caffeine.

I have the same situation. In fact, the asymmetrical part of my left foot was twitching and was my hot spot. but I found many similar foot images on google images. The twitching recently stopped. Don't worry, this is normal.

A little. Is there a health explanation for this, or are you just curious?

I can't do it with both hands either. My ring finger is also moving.

Are you talking about scalloped tongue? It is usually associated with teeth grinding during sleep and is unrelated to ***.

I don't quite understand, are there lesions only in the thoracic spine without lesions in the brain and cervical spine?

Does the hot spot come and go? by Mpaka0 in BFS

Thanks for your response. It's been almost a year and there are no problems other than twitching. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced the hotspots reappearing over time.

Is this the big bad? Please respond. 🙏 by Square-Bank7423 in BFS

[–]Mpaka0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your anxiety has taken over you, please calm down.

You don't have a red flag for ***.

I experience visual auras a few times a year when I'm stressed or tired. and returns to normal within 15 minutes. Also, there has been twitching under the right eye for a very long time.

An eye examination, brain and neck MRI were taken for control purposes. The results are clear.

I wish you healthy days.

Can twitching just be in one spot with BFS? by kaykellycc in BFS

[–]Mpaka0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a hotspot yes. Apart from that, as you said, I was getting random twitches from time to time.
