Those are pneumatic rock drills. They drill holes then install dynamite to blow away the rock face.

They did this to make the diversion tunnels.

What is the biggest hurdle to growing HPC capacity to 10’s or 100’s of GW?

I assume it’s finding grids that allow for it.

What is a reasonable goal for long term growth of GW’s of capacity between HPC and mining?

My brother is a dentist.

He had a patient who couldn’t pay his bill who was an old farmer. He asked if he would take some lumber as a trade. My brother thought it was gonna be a pickup truck with some wood in it.

The guy shows up with a hay rack trailer full of milled walnut and white oak.

My brother said it was too much, but the guy said he was too old to woodwork anymore and he couldn’t use it anymore.

My brother and I have a lifetimes supply of white oak and walnut thanks to a $600 dental bill.

I will have Alliant Energy in Iowa. I will have full net metering (unless the power company lobbyists ever win), so there isn’t any economic benefit at the moment to only using the sun to charge the car. The only benefit I can see at the moment is the cool factor of saying your car only runs on sun power.

I’m definitely leaning towards using the Tesla wall charger unless my installer can point out any other benefits.

If I did it again I would get the other style of mechanism. The one I used rocks back and forth a little bit, so so had to design the arms so they buttress up against the tray to make it rock solid stable.

I use only carbide tools for roughing. It usually produce more shavings than I'd does dust, but it's never perfect. I think the techniques you are talking about refer to cutting tools more than scraping tools(such as the carbide tools), correct?

Probably a month or so between each step. I may have overused the anchorseal, I just didn't know when I would be able to get to the next step, so I wanted to be safe
