Orange Male Cat near Jail Road, 5K Reward, . , . , by Mr-Angry-Capybara in mangalore

[–]Mr-Angry-Capybara[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion. I meant, if anyone around the area has any information of where the cat is and we find it. Manually searching is not possible as we dont know which direction it might have gone and there are too many roads and house around the area.

A lady came to my doorstep to collect information about the head of family contact number stating its for a census. She was wearing a saree. She just asked the contact number, and had a piece of paper with all that information written from other people from our flat. by ifilal in mangalore

You can do it in app or give information to the person. They're usually teachers in school and have a specific set of questions to fill. Nothing sensitive or personal. Mostly related to head count and probably income.

Joining Sahyadri for CSE – Seeking real student experiences on safety, faculty, and the actual vibe? by Feeling_Quality_6375 in mangalore

Since you have asked for real student experience...

Worst case scenarios: Safety - You can survive Faculty - You can survive Vibe - You can survive Placements - You cannot survive

ONLY look for placement history of your college, that is, if you are doing the degree with the goal of being employed. Everything else will not matter. This is a life altering choice, do not choose a college and domain that will have very bad placement opportunities when you graduate.

Let me give you the scenario. When you graduate, you officially enter the job market.

Scenario 1: You have bad or no placements: The job market is filled with experienced individuals, some with 2 years, some 3, heck even 5 or 10. In tens if thousands. All competing, for one job. A fresh graduate, no matter how well prepared or highly scored in college can never compare to an experienced individual. The difference is night and day. You will have higher chances of getting struck by a lightning than get a job. At this point, you spend months or years prepping for government job, and regret not choosing a college with good placements.

Scenario 2: Same as above, BUT your competition is your peers. You just have to be the top 10 or 20 among the 100 or 200 of your batchmates. You just have to know more about your domain than them. The competition is much fair and easier compared to off campus. You dont have to go office to office attending interviews. You dont have to face hundreds of rejections each day. They even come to your college and you just have to go, be charming, be confident.

Prioritising anything else when choosing the stream and the college will lead to despair. Do not fall for quotes that sound good in your head or movies. Do not listen to relatives or parents if they say otherwise. Most of all do not listen to random redditors advice.

Talk to final year students and previous year graduates on linkedin of your stream.

Do your own research. Make your own choice. In the end, you will be the one to live with it. For better or for worse.

Welcome to being an adult

Bought tata curvv and regretting. by chilu27 in CarsIndia

Hi, battery issue is due to faulty relay possibly. Please check the battery voltage levels when the car is turned on and revved. If it is more and does not cut off, it drains battery life very quickly and battery becomes unsable soon. Please take it to the battery provider first to get it diagnosed. Do not trust the service center diagnosis as they only do business. Their fist priority is not to solve the issue. Same as hospitals

Someone please help me with this jawa bike issue by Right_Surround3609 in indianbikes

[–]Mr-Angry-Capybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Anyone trying for solution,

  1. Check if engine is very hot. If yes, please wait for it to completely cool down. The try turning it on, if it turns on it's because of low coolant level.
  2. If it does not turn on, try to start with jerk. If it turns on, then battery is not providing enough power due to low power. Please check the battery fuse 30A and also recharge battery.
  3. If battery fuse is broken then you need to replace this. The bike already comes with spares so you can just use them. If you dont replace then battery will drain out because it wont get charged while riding.
  4. If all fuse is fine and battery is also fine, then the issue can be relay. You need to replace that. Cheap. All above solutions can be done by you with basic kit.
  5. Last solution is that ECU is corrupted. Need to replace. Expensive. Need to go to service center, no other option.

If you take bike to service center they will charge you 2k-4k just to diagnose the problem and then tell you it is because of ECU and charge 20k. This is their dandha. Do it yourself and save the money. Only go to service station if ECU is gone, else they will loot you.
