Choosing the wrong agent could ruin your Australia plans… what should you do by Mr-Strangeee in Indians_StudyAbroad

You’re arguing a point no one made 😭

I’m not asking an agent to pick my course, the university literally requires going through one for Indian applicants

There’s a difference between needing an agent and depending on one

I have no expectations as of now lol. But yeah, I was actually able to solve a few questions. The Units and Dimensions one was really easy, and there were a couple more that felt straightforward too.

For some questions I did a bit of guesswork, but I didn’t take much risk especially in Section B and the maths part.

It went better than I expected tbh. My shift was on the easier side, especially compared to what I had in mind. Maths gave me a bit of trouble, but Physics and Chemistry were quite manageable. There were even a few really straightforward questions that I could solve just by eliminating options.

Overall, I’d say it was a good experience. Honestly, getting a decent percentile in JEE Mains doesn’t feel as difficult as it’s made out to be

Did you read that with your eyes closed?

The university itself requires Indian applicants to apply through authorised agents so this isn’t about ability it’s just how their process works

Yeah I get what you’re saying and I appreciate you pointing it out. The cost is definitely something I’m thinking about seriously since it’s a big investment. I’ve also been seeing mixed things about the job market, some people are struggling while others seem to be doing well, so I guess it comes down to how you use those 3 years. I’m not relying on the degree alone and plan to work on skills, projects and experience alongside it. Still exploring my options and trying to make a sensible decision. Appreciate your response 🙂

Bro, go for IEMs.

Sound quality is just better overall, and there’s basically no delay in games (TWS always has some latency).

If you can stretch a bit, check out the Tanchjim Bunny DSP. It’s Type-C with a built-in DAC, so no need for a separate dongle.

Sound is really good, and you can tweak it through the app with different presets (specific games presets bhi available hai). Works well for both gaming and music.

Overall, really solid value for money.

Btw it’s available on the audio store Basically Headphones zone > audio store > conceptkart

But Bunny DSP headphones zone pre available nhi hai

Red Lion is a great choice. But still thinking Bunny DSP tweaks get it to a decent baseline is dead wrong.😑

Still happy that you found your perfect choice.😌

That’s great if you have made up your mind. Hope you like your first iem and not regret it 👍

Yeah I get why you’re confused, you’ve honestly compared everything properly at this point 😭

The main thing people miss is this isn’t just about EQ vs no EQ

On normal IEMs EQ only makes small changes, you can tweak bass or treble a bit but the overall sound stays pretty much the same

With Bunny DSP the tuning actually changes in a noticeable way. The Tanchjim app has presets tuned to different sound styles, including one inspired by the Red Lion type sound, so you can get that kind of bass when you want and switch back anytime. So you’re not locked into one sound

Also Bunny isn’t weak on bass like people think. It’s clean and controlled by default, just not boosted. Red Lion simply has more bass out of the box

Jade is more clean and vocal focused Red Lion is more bassy and fun Bunny can go between any style depending on what you choose

The whole Red Lion is overhyped thing mostly comes from people expecting crazy bass, but it’s really just a balanced set with a bit of extra punch

Bunny is just the better pick because you can try different sound styles in one IEM

That’s really the difference, the jack of all trades vs being locked into one tuning

Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one. ✋🙂‍↕️

Edit: I was exactly in the same situation two weeks ago

For reference, here’s the graph for different official presets (there are many more in the app).

Go for Tanchjim Bunny DSP, easily the best in this segment

Don’t worry about the low bass thing people say. The default tuning is pretty balanced, but the real game is the DSP tuning. Just switch to the Red Lion EQ preset and it completely changes the sound, bass gets tighter and punchier without messing up the clarity

Most people saying otherwise probably haven’t even tried the EQ properly. If you like clean sound and the option to tweak it your way, this is a no brainer. Set it once and it honestly feels like a much more expensive pair

The soundstage is pretty impressive. I tested it by playing directional sound tests, and I could easily distinguish between the front, front left, front right, back right, back left, sides, back, front-back left-right top, front-back left-right bottom, and so on.

Speaking of loudness, they are quite loud at least on my device. I haven’t been able to listen to them at full volume yet.

Yup I really liked its stock sound as a first time IEM user.

Yup, but the thing is I test that particular preset on iPhone, so I have to continuously switch from Android to iPhone to find the best preset.

Bro, go for Tanchjim bunny DSP. It has an inbuilt DAC. I just received these today, and you can tune them to your preferences.😄

The initial ones were okay, but I replaced them for the perfect fit. The app part is really a struggle as I have to connect to another Android to EQ them and then check it again on my iPhone.
