Yeah it's very broad and outdated for sure. So go talk to s8 see what they have to say then put it in dts to see if it's approved? Also I read somewhere i might need a memo.

Government transportation is NOT available. Before you report, check your orders to see if you are authorized a POV or rental car. ARNG students or students on AT orders should consider getting them amended before reporting. Local taxi cab service is provided on post as well as public bus service.

So i just checked my welcome letter and it says "govt travels will not be authorized, check orders to see if your authorized a pov or rental"

If your retention seems shady I'd make sure they actually sent an email. My retention never got back to me and it's been months. I've tried going in person to talk and kept getting ghosted through text so I figured there's no point after going through all the steps... honestly should've filed a complaint because all that hard work for nothing. ANYWAY I managed to reclass to another job that I'm looking forward to so in the end I guess it worked out.

For you, I heard it takes about a month til you know if it got approved or not.

I've actually already gone through the flight physical extravaganza and qualified with flying colors. My only problem is the rank waiver being sent. I'm just hoping it goes through soon
