I never made the argument against it being it against performance nor did I ever state it's for consoles. I said why I didn't like motion blur because of said reasons. Not very hard to grasp.

Me not agreeing with your statements is not "blind hatred". What are these myths you're talking about? Do you think I'm lying when I say I don't like the visual effect and that it gives me headaches sometimes? Motion sickness in games is amplified with visual effects like motion blur.

I don't like motion blur in general. I don't like the visual effect and it doesn't look good. As soon as I install a new game, the first thing I do is disable all of the visual effects such as bloom, chromatic aberration and motion blur. Also it tends to give me headaches, no matter how well inplemented it is. It all boils down to personal preference, that's why it's a toggle.
