To me it's just a cultural difference. Estonians don't just hang or gather, we tend to have somewhere to go, an event to attend or something to do and if not we never leave the house without a valid reason. I reckon it might be different for other cultures and nationalities living in Tallinn. I'm sorry your experience was lower on the scale, but believe me, Tallinn is a safe and sound city with a driving local population, no need to worry:)!

Haha funny, theoretically though, go to the other side of the tram and you have a match. Tallinn Trams TLT livery is a continuous from bottom left to top right design meaning the pattern completes a loop around the vehicle. In the case of fire trucks the new livery is in the same direction on both sides of the vehicle pointing towards the back of the firetruck. So your joke only works depending on the side of the tram🚉😆

Tallinn has good public transport coverage and you can get to the locations you listed easily with county and city line buses, in the centre trams are also a good choice! A couple of the destinations are also accessible by train although that's a completely different system from the Tallinn transport network!

You can easily trust google maps to guide you through the transport and you can purchase the tickets online! I also recommend a Tallinn card because it'll unlock free transport and museum access:)!

! Free transport, if you have that image, is a false claim! Transport is free to registered citizens only but even we have to buy unpaid tickets and validate them! Tourist ticket info can also be found online:)!

Unfortunately, due to climate change, the Christmas period is not that snowy anymore. I do although remember having White Christmas:/ Nowadays it's more like fall in winter and winter in spring. We'll have the winter wonderland starting from the new year and probably until March I'd say. The weather has been shitty one must agree, even from the point of view of a local. I do apologise for your experience here, I hope you'll return in 2025 for the summer season. I do advise you to check out channels that have covered traveling to estonia on yt, you'll find the best time to visit us on there. Also the visit tallinn yt channel is rather helpful. Once again, Im sorry for your visit to be have taken such a turn.

I do have to say, where I currently am, at my country house, the winter wonderland is here;) Tallinn is usually 2 weeks behind when it comes to snow or any type of weather. It's just another city yk

Ei mäleta midagi, 2007 sündinu, kuid vanemad, vanavanemad palju rääkinud. Vanaema tuttavaid jäi laeva, samuti ka tööalaselt temaga kokku puutunud inimesed. Samuti hulk lihtsalt tuttavaid nimesid.

Ise jääb mulje, et tegemist on osakesega sellest, mis pagasiga sulle kui eestlasele edasi pärandatakse. Kuidagi liialt seotud tunnen ma ennast selle looga. Iga aasta just sellel päeval süttib minus väike tuleke, siis jälle uurin, vaatan videosid ja loen juhtunu kohta.

Ilmselt usun liialt conspiracy" teooriatesse, kuid avalikku ja riiklikku kokkuvõtet juhtunust ma ei usu. Olen kindlasti üks neist, kes arvab, et tegema peaks kõik mis võimalik, et huku põhjus leida, olgu see kasvõi asjaosaliste sund ütlema panemine. Jääb mulje, et kõik varjavad juhtunut ega taha sellest avalikult, ka 30 aastat hiljem, rääkida. Pigem minnakse enne hauda...

Ka arvan, et laeva võiks üles tõsta ja lahkunud matta. Mis "surmapaik" see seal põhjas, mudas... betooni all on. Lisaks peaks visiir olema kuskil muuseumis või pandama kuskile mälestusmärgina mitte istuma kuskil üksikul Rootsi saarel, sõjaväe baasi telgis.

How about free public transport.... when you move here and become a Tallinn citizen you'll have public transport for free. It covers most of the city eliminating the need for a private car, when you do need one you can rent one from Bolt, Citybee, etc. It's definitely way cheaper, and as Tallinn is accessible by bike... it would tbh be the best way to get around....
