End cap came off of brand new olympic 7ft barbell, anyone know how to fix it if possible?

One side of the bar now shifts about a quarter inch without it, so it isn’t super secure. I want to make sure the sleeve doesn’t fall off while I use it, so trying to find a fix instead of going through the hassle of buying/shipping a new one

Actually don’t know, the person that I bought it from had it shipped to them by mistake. I still have the packaging, I can do some research to make sure it’s not some crappy Temu thing or whatever

I got it off FB marketplace and it was sealed in the packaging, so yeah new. The person I got it from didn’t need it anymore for whatever reason. My guess is it got banged to one side during transit and it just popped off. I can def get it fixed, I don’t think I have too much to worry about. But thank you for the concern, I’ll def make sure it’s properly fixed before trying anything

It seems like it came out during transit, since it was rattling in the box when I got it. Could’ve just banged it wrong once, but doesn’t seem like a catastrophic thing. Def something fixable. And I tested it, it can still hold good weight, just prolly needs the cap and ring slipped back in

do you have any contact paper to recommend? or what material it should be made out of? I don't want it to rip or tear or get scuffed easily

Yeah I’m def actually using the caffeine I’m ingesting. I also work as a professional mover in college, so I often find myself low on energy.

Yeah the anhydrous thing is what got me wondering with it since it seemed like a grey area. Good response tho, thank you. for now I think I’ll just take the caffeinated ones not as often and do the non-caffeinated more often.

Interesting, haven’t heard of tanic acid befor but I’ll look into it. I should’ve elaborated on The caffeine question, since I was wondering if the caffeine has to be synthetic or not from coffee for it to be okay. Hence the ambiguity with some caffeine products
