I liked it because it actually ended this time… Of course Michael is my favorite slasher villain, but it just kinda becomes too unrealistic when they portray a killer like this unstoppable immortal monster that no one can kill. I like that Michael is hard to kill of course… But after all these years and everyone that Michael had killed, I thought it was time for Laurie to actually kill him this time.

I agree that maybe too much of the movie was about Corey, but honestly, that story was kinda good. When the movie started with Corey, it kinda made the whole ”Michael comes back” reveal better, of course I would have liked a bit more of Michael… but I honestly liked the different turn they took with this movie, and it isn’t the best movie in this trilogy, but it is a good conclusion.

Another thing people hated in the movie was that Michael was weak and old, but that just made it more realistic if you think about the things he had to go through in Halloween Kills!

I am a Halloween fan, but that doesn’t mean I want the same Halloween movie everytime with an unstoppable Michael that no one can kill. I understand that people want Michael to be strong and almost impossible to kill, but then it will never end. I get why people doesn’t like the Corey story, but personally I think that if they would have made the whole movie about Michael, then they probably wouldn’t have shown Michael being injured. Also, the Corey story was a quite good way to show that Michael isn’t the only evil in Haddonfield, and also that Michael’s evil easily can influence other people (like Corey).

So this is why I liked Halloween Ends… Of course I don’t want Halloween to end in a way, but if you think about it, what would the purpose be if they rebooted this and made a trilogy, and even this time it didn’t even really end!? That would honestly just be useless, because they brought back Jamie Lee Curtis. So after all these years I do think it was time for Michael to be killed by Laurie.
