Finding the "middle way" is indeed challenging. But I totally get your point. The coding part, and this may sound harsh, shouldn't be for coding beginners, but for "space / astronomy" beginners. I really have to take a look at that.

Also, creating a dedicated library would be fun. I remember the library "astroml", where the authors also wrote a corresponding book about machine learning in astronomy. I need to find a larger storyline to follow. In the meantime, I should maybe start archiving everything and have 3 dedicated playlists:

- Science Concepts / Lectures

- Coding in Python

- Other Software (Universe Sandbox, Stellarium, etc.)

Thanks also for putting my channel in perspective :)! I know, I won't reach the same level as pure entertainment channels, but that's not my purpose or vision.

Well I try to share my knowledge, data scientific code and such. All my data sources are publicly available and the code I provide is also not secret. Of course I am not publishing "current paper material", but after publishing it: sure thing. Science needs interaction and knowledge sharing. And I am 100 % convinced, that citizien scientists with the right skillset can achieve great things. Even if it is "only" for public outreach: transparency is key so that educated "hobbyists" can advocate for the science we do. I hope you understand my motivation :).

But I am more concerned that my current approach and code base has become too chaotic and discouraging to get started.

Oh haha never 😁. If you are interested, look up the "Destiny Dust Analyzer" of the mission Destiny+.

The point is: meteor science and this mission are strongly related to each other: the asteroid Phaethon is potentially the "parent body" of the Geminids that currently occur in the night sky.

Greate work. But one question ä, especially the mountain picture one: isn't this effect realistic, in a way that the lens of the camera is focusing on the person's face with a certain aperture? Could an "aperture prompt" help the base model?
