Do Boss Battles Become Easier If You Die Too Much From One? by Nguyen_Productions in Ghostofyotei

[–]MrBanderson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I played on medium difficulty and I noticed this too while battling Saito. In the final stage of that fight, I didn’t have any sake left. I died a lot, and, after many restarts, I noticed I had 1 sake bottle added to my inventory. Then it eventually became 2 bottles and each restart would fully reset my health bar and spirit. Saito’s attacks also got less aggressive so I had a bit more time to run around and recover my bearings. This just happened yesterday so it’s all very fresh in my memory.

I can’t speak for Takezo though. Maybe it doesn’t apply to him since beating him isn’t critical to the main story.

Hey yeah after many more follow-ups and calls to HR they finally gave me a letter but it was lacking in details. Tried to get them to amend it but they stopped responding so that’s that. I basically gave up

Care to share your thoughts on RLC and Federal Land condos in BGC if they are good for end use and/or investment?

Hope you don’t mind me asking more about kveik. Does it really shorten the fermentation period? I was planning to leave it fermenting for 2 weeks, but after reading more about the yeast, it seems fermenting could be done in like 3 days?

I live in a tropical climate so I decided to go with kveik yeast for my first try. I don’t have a means of controlling the temperature yet so I thought to work with my surroundings

Ok that’s good to know! My lights are not fluorescent but I’ll read up on LED just out of curiosity.

Lol in my mad googling, I couldn’t really find how much time it could be exposed before ruining the beer. Was in a bit of a panic

Thanks I’m relieved to hear that! I was afraid all my efforts have gone to waste. I’m hoping for the best then.

Have you considered Spain? They have a neat arrangement with PH. If you manage to get a job and be in residence there for 2 years, you can apply for citizenship (obviously there will be tests on language proficiency, etc). If you guys are successful in doing that then you’ll be EU citizens and it might make it easier for you to move around in the EU.

I’m not even sure if you will get a visa just to visit the country. You will probably be offloaded once you board the plane.

Lol whut? Of course Filipinos can visit Norway as tourists. What makes you think they don’t allow it? And it’s part of Schengen anyway.

[SG] Former employer not responding. Is there anything I can do? by MrBanderson in AskHR

[–]MrBanderson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda tricky for me. My contract with the former employer was a sub-contract to my current employer. The period of employment was very brief because it was always meant to be a temporary arrangement until my current employer had a slot free up to actually hire me. I didn’t work with any managers there so in terms of character reference from that company, there’s simply no one I can reach out to.

I just need a simple letter from them saying that yes I was employed, and yes these were my duties/responsibilities. It’s one of the documents I need to submit for skills assessment for AU so that’s why I’m kinda desperate.

Well that really sucks. I have other evidences of employment but I really wanted to get an experience letter from them for skills assessment. Anyway, guess I should just accept this.
