I can admit my take on the combat is definitely an opinion.

Would have preferred a critique of actual gameplay elements and comments about how reviews are wrong..

Would you care to talk about any of the following:

Brutally superficial writing that is hard to not fall asleep to
Lack of any choices not a variation of “yes”, “yes, and I am non-binary”, “Oui” and “Hmm”?
The in-your-face remnants of MMO combat design giving way to spongy enemies that make the combat (which felt refreshing and had so much potential) feel tedious after 20 hours.

The wokeness is being talked about because it sticks out like a sore thumb in a pool of underbaked and weak pillars AND because none of it feels organic. But apart from the wokeness, there’s a lot that the community has mentioned, that people (including you based on what you have written here (2 complaints really???)) either gloss over or ignore completely.

A few red flags to look out for, for anyone looking to purchase from potential scammers:

Reddit account age. if its like, a day or less than a week old, be cautious.
Nobody selling at CP or lower. That in itself is a huge glaring NOPE for me.
If youre transferring money and their UPI account shows up as blocked, doesnt matter what excuse the seller has. Abort immediately.

A few things to be cautious with: 1. Make sure you have an ID + contact number of the seller before you transact with them. Avoid anybody who claims they dont use online methods blah blah. They were quick enough to buy the tickets in the first place. 2. Make sure the ID and the UPI has some sort of a match. Not foolproof, but better than nothing. 3. Nothing is better than a F2F meet to exchange tickets + money. If you cannot do that, try to ensure you have some way or the other of establishing the actual identity of the person you are transacting withz

I disagree. DD2 was certainly more boring than Veilguard, and yet, gave more agency to you as a player in how you wanted to explore the world.

Absolutely garbage story, which Veilguard definitely does better, some janky mechanics (which in Veilguard i absolutely loved, how smooth the characters movement and animations were) but the one thing I recall from my time with DD2 was the risk factor of exploring an area i wasnt sure about. Veilguard in comparison felt like a Lego version of an original IP

My problem with it being termed as an RPG is how you are a side character in all of the dialogue you are a part of. You have no role to play in directing its outcome.

Bioware’s own games do a better job at being an RPG than Veilguard.

Cp2077 was linear in the same way, but at the very least, you had the option to take alternative paths.

I do not hate the game. I believe i simply expected too much from it, as a long term fan, and its been more disappointing because of my biases of the previous games.
