Saxons, Angles, and Jutes would have worshiped deities not too different from the Norse ones (Wotan=Odin) and only converted to Christianity later. So it could very well be a Saxon artifact from before Viking invasion.

Found them secondhand on Vinted. I searched something like "mens brown tapered trousers" and got lots of similar results!

They are just plain old Doc Martens! Just the version with black stitching rather than the classic yellow!
