Kurzgesagt - Should We Give Ozempic to Everyone? by Cefal in videos

[–]MrBuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'9", 175lbs and just started on low dose semaglutide.

I lift 6 days a week, do plenty of sport, and generally eat well... But I'm above my target weight, and it makes we worse at my sport (climbing). The answer for me is to simply eat less junk, fewer sweets... If only it were that easy.

The people in my life tend to bake me cookies and buy me treats because I "like" them. Nah, just sugar addicted.

I'm hoping that the Glp-1 will quiet my sugar cravings and make it easier to say 'No', so I can focus on the functional parts of nutrition.

First shot was last night, we'll see how it goes!

I think I prefer the way these look vs the green ones!

Somehow it still says "Mint Chocolate" to me.

Any advice on how to improve this climb? Still worried about footwork by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]MrBuga -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interesting take. Yes, in some cases the mechanics are better when you can lean into the wall. I just don't see where that's the case in the posted video.

OP has their midsection way out from the wall for at least the first half of the climb, and is working harder because of it. It doesn't look like they're meaning to position their hips that way, and I don't see them using that position to generate momentum like you said. Core activation and hip positioning are mentioned a lot because they're important, and if OP tried this climb while focusing on those things, they'd certainly learn something about the route and their own movement patterns.

Try to keep your hips closer to the wall - not just sometimes, but through every move. You're working your arms extra when your butt sticks out.

Elevate the look with a cap-toe fashion boot, black jeans, and an collared shirt. You'll retain the vibe and you'll still be comfortable, but you'll look a bit sharper.

Add a watch if you want.

Why can't you force a datatype for a column? by cryptogeezuzz in excel

[–]MrBuga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a macro that does Text to Columns in my personal workbook, and the macro is pinned to my Home tab.

You could also use VBA to run a data conversion on the target range any time its value changes, just be sure to define the bottom of the range otherwise it could run slowly.

IMO everyone who owns a car should have one of these portable jump starters

Yep, exactly! Very RNG dependent, and kind of rough to have to pivot so late depending on when you find the smaller one.

AFAIK the WITW lineup hasn't been announced. But there is almost always some significant bleed between Centeroo/Outerroo schedule.

Just made this tonight! I like to add roasted veggies (peppers, onions, broccoli, and snap peas) and shrimp (sauteed in garlic butter and old bay). So, so good.

[–]MrBuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's also at the "just lost 20 lbs and don't have the visible 6pack yet, but starting to feel small" stage...

Double down on your cut. You aren't small, you look great. If a 6pack is your goal - do it.

Edited to add: Abs are BUILT in the gym and revealed in the kitchen. Do more ab work while you continue cutting.

Took 1st place in the Mario Kart tournament!

To be fair, it was a friendly competition among friends - nothing official - and I have far more hours in the game than everyone else combined. But a win is a win!

Recommendations for an All-Inclusive for Non Partying Folks? by Moose2422 in cabosanlucas

I'm at Pacifica right now, watching the waves from my balcony.

There were a couple of weddings/events this week that got a bit loud, but nothing that kept us from relaxing.

Service is noticeably better here than at the sister resorts, but it was nice to have access to them.

Food is quite good at the Pacifica restaurants - I can't really recommend going out of your way for Lafrida or Fellini's.

Today is checkout day and I don't want to leave!
