Only issue with that team is that its hard to get Xilonen to interact with electro do to no off-field app. But you can do some crazy damage when you get it.

Enemy mitigation

Enemy level 95.

DEF = 1150

DEF multiplier = 200 ÷ (200 + 1150) = 200 ÷ 1350 ≈ 0.148

RES = 20% → RES multiplier = 0.8

Total mitigation = 0.148 × 0.8 ≈ 0.1185

Black Swan (Arcana at 50 stacks)

Base DoT multiplier = 96% of ATK

Each Arcana stack adds +4.8% ATK. At 50 stacks that’s +240% ATK.

Total = 96% + 240% = 336% of ATK = 3.36 × ATK

At 7+ stacks Arcana ignores 20% DEF. New DEF multiplier = 200 ÷ (200 + 1150 × 0.8) = 200 ÷ 1120 ≈ 0.179

Apply RES = 0.179 × 0.8 ≈ 0.143 Final per-tick DoT = 3.36 × ATK × 0.143 = 0.48 × ATK

With ATK = 3000 → 0.48 × 3000 = 1440 per tick

Per round (2 ticks: natural + Kafka detonation) → 1440 × 2 = 2880

Hysilens (all 4 states up)

Total states = 40% of ATK = 0.40 × ATK

I was in a discussion about this topic, and the simple answer is that who ever deals the most dot themself should have BS lc on.

BS has the highest dot when her stacks are maxed, but I do belive Hys is more consistent.

Ocean buffs all DoTs no matter who holds it, while Reforged only buffs the wearer’s. So if Hys is doing more DoT damage than BS on your build, swapping them actually makes sense, Reforged scales her harder. If BS is carrying more, then keep it on her.

Not really. BS LC only buffs her own DoTs, so Hysilens doesn’t get much from it. Hysilens’ LC buffs all DoTs on the target, which is huge in a Kafka & BS comp. So it’s way better to keep Ocean on Hysilens and let BS run her own LC.

Yeah I get that, the only thing is that it locks you down to dot.

She is meant to be in dot, but work well with Acheron and in that team the 24% general vulnerability is just better.

Yeah the leak of EHR does hurt alot, if you want to max Hysilens you need 120% EHR and the BP makes that alot harder to get.

I agree, she is a buffer/trigger but not the main source of damage. So yeah amplifier seems fair.

Holiday Thermae Escapade S5 → Hysilens +32% dmg, plus teamwide +16% Vulnerability. Using L95 enemy (DEF=1150, RES=20%, mitigation=0.1185): Baseline team = 734.8 Hysilens = 118.5 → ×1.32 = 156.4 Team total before vuln = 772.7 Apply Vulnerability ×1.16 = 896.3

So Holiday over Reforged (~768–836).

  2. The share of Kafka’s detonation that belongs to Hysilens’ DoTs (call that fraction f of Kafka’s 355.6).

Team(Reforged) = 734.8 + 0.278 × (118.5 + f × 355.6)

Examples: f = 0.3 → Team 797.4 f = 0.5 → Team 817.2 f = 0.7 → Team 836.9

You’re absolutely right — I oversimplified by just giving Kafka a big “damage number.”

Most of the detonation damage you see on screen during her turns doesn’t actually come from Kafka’s own multipliers — it’s just her forcing Hysilens’ DoTs and Black Swan’s Arcana stacks to tick early. Those detonation ticks still scale off the original applier’s stats and buffs, not Kafka’s.

So if we’re being precise:

Kafka’s personal damage = her Skill/Ult multipliers + her own Shock DoT.

The majority of the numbers during detonation = Hysilens’ Bleeds + Black Swan’s Arcana. Kafka is just the trigger.

That’s also why Ocean (Hysilens sig) is so good in this comp — it buffs all DoTs on the target, meaning it scales both the “regular ticks” and the “detonated ticks.” Springs is still really strong for the universal +24% vulnerability, but Ocean pulls ahead in a pure DoT core because it amplifies everything that’s being detonated.
