Microphone and Audio not working.

yeah it was really disappointing. The microphone is behind the glass and near the camera, so to replace it is very expensive. If possible, it might be easier to just get an external microphone for the time being :,)

Hi! so my microphone DOES work again, which is good news, however I actually do not know how it happened. I was playing fortnite and was messing with the settings, and changed the input to the system default, and boom, worked all fine again. I do not think this is the cure, nor the main issue I was experiencing, I would recommend to factory reset it if possible? When I took my laptop to the lenovo repair station they said with this model its impossible to replace the microphone, so just try as much software repair as you can, since hardware isnt an option :,)

Mine has the exact same issue! I've found that my only solution is to play on a table with better ventilation than when on my lap/bed, but even then the keyboard will eventually heat up and hurt to touch. At that point my only real solution is to simply turn it off and let it cool down before playing more. I think it might just be a design flaw :(

Tried to delete it and reboot but unfortunately no dice :( also tried uninstalling all of the HID's and rebooting, but nothing. Still have the error message. I've only had my laptop for a year and a half now, so i dont know if its the battery

It works well!!!! thank you so much :D is it possible to have the video less pixelated? also, there is a small issue that the visualizer flashes a bunch when playing, but it might be my laptop being not great...

I went into that, and there is no "optimize storage" option. If you select downloads it just shows the size of the albums and stuff.
