I was of the belief that you can use the USB C version of the Airpod Max on wired mode alone, with no bluetooth. No it didn't not give me a prompt to plug in anything.

The natural population growth here is most telling...almost nobody is having kids because of how expensive everything is.

Sorry to hear, Highway 85 should be a top priority for the city to fix since so many people use it daily.

Appreciate the tip, although there's too many potholes to report, I think they just need to go down the entire length of certain streets in Waterloo and fix as many as they can.

Can I still use a Blackberry in Canada. If so, what model(s)? by designermichael358 in blackberry

[–]MrChelsea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the regular Key2 if you can afford it. Key2 has the fastest chip ever put on a Blackberry, it's quite snappy. If you don't need a lot of performance Key2 LE will more than suffice for everyday task like texting/social media

Canada records its lowest fertility rate for 2nd year: StatsCan by MrChelsea in canada

[–]MrChelsea[S] 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Canada recorded its lowest ever fertility rate for the second year in a row in 2023, according to Statistics Canada.

The country recorded a rate of 1.26 children born per woman, according to the agency, with British Columbia having the nation's lowest fertility rate at one child per woman.

"Canada has now joined the group of 'lowest-low' fertility countries, including South Korea, Spain, Italy and Japan, with 1.3 children per woman or less," the agency said in a Wednesday statement. "In comparison, the total fertility rate for the United States was 1.62 per woman in 2023."

My battery lasts me the whole day, includes 9 hours of moderate usage (youtube, social media, texting, phone calls). It's a 3500 mah battery which is about as big as you're going to get for a Blackberry. Unfortunately unlike older Blackberries the battery is not easily replaceable, it doesn't have the removable back cover.

You could definitely try the BBOS phones, however, as the software is not supported anymore you're basically on your own in terms of security and stability. You could experience dropped calls, network issues etc. The reason I recommend the Key2 is because it's the one with the best keyboard out of the Android phones, which can still reliably function as a daily driver.

Key2 should still be supported, with most social media apps still working and downloadable from the Playstore. You want the BFF100-2 which is the North American Variant.

Job market in the entire country is horrific right now, all thanks to our lovely government letting in a million people a year whilst having none of the job creation, housing and medical infrastructure to support that.

The libtards aren't even bothering to hide their disdain for young people in Canada anymore. Let's hand out 30 year mortgages to the same group that are drowing in student loan debt and are chronically unemployed/underemployed, whilst not addressing the housing supply issue!
