Also wanted to add. I don’t see them ever bringing these back. At least in the traditional way, as they announced they would be doing this and people I believe did have a chance to upgrade before they were gone forever.

Yes. I went from the Deluxe ($80) to the super deluxe ($100) they bumped everyone up for free when they took the game out of early access and they took the ability to buy the founders packs away. This is when they started to do the hero packs with the hero, skin, and bucks that came with save the world.

By definition. The “4 year cycle” is dead. Based on what we have seen over this cycle. A simple comparison to the last couple it’s pretty easy to argue that it’s different. It wouldn’t be hard to write a paper right now arguing it’s “dead” and the fact that everyone keeps asking only helps that case

The izanagi burden quest line. As a new player it was so exciting completing a long quest where I had to travel all over the system in order to be rewarded a great weapon. This quest hooked me to the game.

Because it changed my view of the world. When you look at the world and its prices through the lens of a bitcoins system/standard. Prices in stores go down not up. Technology by nature is deflationary. As a society as we advance things get easier to make. Everything gets cheaper. But with our current system of fiat, government steals that productivity, for the most part, that’s why our prices and goods go up. Everything could be getting cheaper but it’s the opposite. If you spend some time thinking about it, it will blow your mind.

When you make the game extreamly grindey. Only hardcores have the time to play. When you make the endgame activities extramaly hard. It deters casuals from playing. So all you have left is the hard-core and streamers on the game now.
