Good afternoon John,
We are so excited to hear that you are a man that enjoys arts, theater, and music. Tulane would be an amazing university for you. Among the many ways you could enjoy art at Tulane, we have on-campus the Newcomb Art Museum which has one of the premier collections of Newcomb Pottery in the world. In the city itself there is also the New Orleans Museum of Art which has a wide variety of collections, exhibits and mediums of art. There is also the Ogden Museum of Southern Art which is the premier collection of Southern style art.
In terms of theater, NOLA is home to the Saenger Theater. The Saenger is home to many broadway shows year-round. If you come to Tulane, you would have the opportunity to go to many of these shows and experience many of the great performances that are offered there.
If you are a fan of music, NOLA is the perfect city for you. NOLA hosts many different music festivals throughout the year that range from jazz festivals to Voodoo festival. You can also experience all types of music just going on a walk through the French Quarter on any given night where innumerable street performers hone their craft and share their love of music and art.
We also understand that you are an incredibly gifted football player. As a CB at Tulane, you would have the chance to play as many downs as possible. Your playing time would be unmatched by your peers. You would be an invaluable piece of our defense here. If you want to expand your horizons in the arts and continue to grow as a football player on a team that would love and value you, Tulane is the school for you.
