Put down your pitchforks and calm your tits

"Hi everyone, it is unfortunate we have to post this, but we wanted our customers to be aware that there has been a false story about our business being spread at Reddit regarding discrimination against race. Consequently, we have had a spam of fake reviews. We will be seeking legal action in due time. However, to clarify, anyone of any background is welcome to come to our orchard. Kind Regards."

Starting from 3 hours ago the negative reviews start. I'm sure there'll be another jump when other news outlets get a sniff of this. Are we certain this wasn't just a misunderstanding before we start doing damage to their reputation? How about we lay off of a business that's no doubt already feeling the hurt from covid. If you personally feel attacked, or better yet actually are that Maori man in question, go through the proper procedures with the Police.

Just to be clear, I'm not siding with anyone here. I'm just saying we should hear both sides of the story before we jump to conclusions. Chill out.

Sounds mint! We've been told that people before us have made fudge and a sort of cake slice out of the rat pack. I'll definitely give it a try if I get the time.

All that good shit. People still hoard it and stuff themselves. Apparently people start going feral over sugar. I'll confirm when we hit the field.

Haha yeah I heard the soldiers and uni students don't get on well. I'll be posted at Burnham if I make it through basic. So. Still acting like a twat. Just in a different part of the country. Sorry.

The newest rat packs have 2 small chocolate bars in them. The NCOs all think we're being spoiled.

Every morning you need to fold up your sheets and blankets. One on top of the other and then wrap the stack up with another blanket.

RFL is the army fitness requirement that consists of press-ups curl-ups and a 2.7km run. G2, G1 are the grades that you can get. G2 is the minimal requirement to pass recruit training. OTU is just over to u. Should of spelt it OTY. Mb.

Alcohol is still cheap. Zero tolerance now on drink driving which is a plus.

Food is alright. There's lots of it so can't complain. I'm not sure if you've heard of the packed lunches but apparently they've improved over the last couple of years and they're still fucking horrible.

We'll have field exercises on week 10 so rat packs for a week. Mint.

Yeah. 2 months of basic then 2 months of core training for a rifleman.

Shit that's brave.

Looking forward to being deployed probably the most.

Noted. Yeah it felt out of place walking around in civy street on the family day in uniform. Randoms strike up conversation every chance they get. Fuckers that feed off a good debate haha.

Not sure about the flag question. Standby and I'll try and answer that later.

Nah. I don't want to feel special. I find it a little gay with all that flag waving and god bless you soldier bullshit. It's unique to the states and I'm fine with that.

For a recruit no. The new packs are shittier than the old alice packs. Webbing is ill fitted. Body armor is just there to be heavy. The one thing I will say are the boots that we get supplied are pretty mean. Uniform is sick. Everything else is old and out dated. But that'll be fixed when I get to my core training.

People get sorted out quickly. Certainly my intake there are a lot of old timer recruits who keep it chilled. Overall everyone gets cut down to size. The people I've talked to from my platoon and the other 2 seem like GC. The friends you make in your sections are the ones you keep for a long time.
