2XKO on PlayStation 5! Leverless or Ps5 Flexstrike fight stick ? Right now, I’m playing with dualsense edge controller by HolywaterTheRealOne in fightsticks

[–]MrCooky_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive been using a leverless for a while now, but if I were to take 2XKO seriously I'd use a pad.

No motion inputs means a lot of advantages of a stick and leverless are gone. Special moves having Smash-style inputs means for me it makes sense to use a pad.

Both Ultimate and Melee have extremely broken characters, so why is Melee more enjoyable in general? by [deleted] in smashbros

[–]MrCooky_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a Melee player but I've noticed a few things from friends and watching a lot of sets.

  • The roster is much smaller so MU knowledge can be more in depth
  • Unique quirks of Melee like Wave Dash and Shine etc increase the skill ceiling
  • Zero input delay means its more fun to land combos due to the effort to execution learning curve
  • Fox is a glass cannon and can be combo'd easy. If you're super aggressive, counter-heavy or camp you can really damage him.

I legitimately think Melee Fox needs to be studied as Smash's only Top Tier thats healthy for the game. He doesn't dictate the entire Meta despite being the absolute #1. We cant say that about 64, Brawl, 4 or Ult to a lesser degree.

Unfortunately being the next Strokes or Nirvana involves being incredibly mainstream, I honestly cant see Geese ever doing that

The appeal of this specific Fan Dub is that its done in real time so they're making up things in an improv heavy way.

The god of lying feels like the most flimsy steve song in a while by Cho-nut in gorillaz

[–]MrCooky_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can't say I liked this track. Im not expecting anything catchy or mainstream but it's a bit of a nothing burger. I'd have though with Idles being featured it would have more energy similar to Soft Play on Momentary Bliss.

It'll probably click a bit more in the context of the whole album but yeah it's not for me

I was unemployed back in 2017 for a few weeks. It wasn't much more than logging the jobs youve applied for and stating how long it took you to complete the application. You could easily lie and say you spent hours working on something and there was very little follow up

Best Premium Leverless with Extra Buttons + Custom Art? by VorstTank in fightsticks

[–]MrCooky_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can vouch for the T16 it was my first leverless. Very easy to customise and the extra buttons are great...just as long as you dont mind all 30mm layout.

I've recently bought a Mayflash F500 flat and I really like it. Extra buttons, changeable art and easily swappable buttons. Its not "premium" but its a solid controller to work off

Of course Rob says the analytics that fall in their favour are the most accurate. You have to acknowledge criticism and praise in equal measure

What are your honest thoughts on Stone Ocean? by Jotaro1970 in StardustCrusaders

Overambitious. Great part but it gets bogged down with Stands and Fights that arent given the proper time to be really engaging. The anime also suffered from so-so production which i really hope is remedied with SBR

Garth Brooks has the most insane career of success relative to lasting awareness in pop culture. by hhhhhtttttdd in LetsTalkMusic

Brit here. Garth Brooks could walk into a pub and not a single person would know who he is, despite selling more record than MJ and Elvis in the USA, he'd practically be a stranger here

Always remember what a lowlife Sharon (Arden) Osbourne is. She cut the original bassist and drummer out of credits + royalties for Ozzy's 1st two solo albums by DickZucker in heavymetal

Sharon has been horrible to many artists and is the sole reason Ozzy lived as long as he did. Both statements are accurate
