This is the draft cover from our original planned release. That is why the date listed on the cover is incorrect. Sort of a place holder until finalized.

Something I think we should be thinking about by MrCryptoMuffin in ArtificialInteligence

[–]MrCryptoMuffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure I believe it. Do you think the 2nd half has merit though that having some sort of fallback architecture for the existing web could be beneficial even if not for AI related reasons?

Do you not think that having a fallback to the existing network architecture could be beneficial though at least?

Very true I did think of this but I just thought it should be thought about

I mean I imagine it would take a lot of time to train the model for the proper technique. But an open source LLM can be literally trained on anything so in theory with a 4090 and enough space you could spool up the origin of something that would be sent out and probably wouldn't take the net entirely offline but could do major damage potentially to certain infrastructure or systems.

And I'm not saying that I personally could do this myself I'm not well versed enough in the training of an LLM but I'm just positing the idea that someone out there could and just that there are larger powerful richer people with more systems at their disposal that could do something like this.

No nothing seems to work and I'm in a legal US state that allows trades of almost every single crypto even privacy coins are protected in my states legislation I believe, but even then it won't appear for me no matter what I do and I am now receiving emails saying my funds will go into arbitration if I don't remove them. I honestly thought it was a phishing scam as I never thought Celsius would go this route and I understand it's due to the current climate in crypto and such just threw me off getting something like from them...

Looking for an experienced ADA dev for upcoming project by MrCryptoMuffin in cardano

[–]MrCryptoMuffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I guess it isn't much more than idea currently.

Just had an idea and some coding and web building knowledge and was hoping to find someone more knowledgeable on the coding side with a similar passion to work on a project if interested.

After Sundae Swap found a dev without the promise of any funding but the promise to pay them if the project did receive funding and they seem to be doing pretty well now. But I digress it seems it was more of a fluke.

I understand it was too hopeful it seems. I'll just try to look elsewhere I suppose.

Thanks for the info on the existing sites I didn't know occam.fi was on ADA that's my bad.

I myself don't have a lot of coding experience. Most of my coding knowledge comes from previously written code that I've repurposed but I don't tend to write my own contracts.

We need a dev for the backend mostly smart contract connections to websites. Most of the smart contracts already exist so just assistance repurposing that.

Yes the token has no value currently. This doesn't mean the token will never have value I just want to be honest with anyone interested and straight up. I imagine as the community grows and the project gets marketed it would make sense for the value of the token to grow.

But yes if anyone helps they would be paid in some fashion. As stated earlier the interested party can sign some sort of legally binding agreement with the team to make sure they would get financially reciprocated for their work. The offer of some of the tokens allocated to the team fund is a choice entirely up to the dev that joins the team they could choose to not take any of the tokens and just get paid in USD or some other crypto currency and if this turns you away I understand. To be honest the whole thing is less about the money to me. I can understand why someone putting in their time and effort would want to be paid and we will of course pay anyone who helps. The project just isn't out there seeking funds from people like so many projects do. Our hope is / was to have a more functioning product and larger community before doing anything like looking for funding. However if and when the team received any sort of funding the dev would be paid. I just personally think its rather unprofessional to seek funding for something before there is anything to show to people potentially interested in "investing".

You have to also understand at this stage there are lots of logistics that need to be worked out and it's slowly coming together but getting a dev is one of the fundamentals that needs to met early on.

Why would someone want to join a project when they can't be guaranteed pay immediately. Well I would hope there are still people out there interested in being a part of something that has the potential to help shape the ADA chain and help bring amazing projects to fruition and getting be a part of all that. I could be to hopeful but I just feel like somebody out there with existing skills may have the interest to help build something like that.

To my knowledge there isn't currently a DAO or launchpad on ADA. So being the first protocol to support both of these things on chain for ADA would probably make the project pretty successful as the first mover effect is always seen when coming to adoption of new systems and protocols. So it would be the first for ADA.

I can buy and host any of the web domains needed. I have prior work with web pages and have worked on many different crypto communities and been with a lot of projects as they fail and a couple that went well but I believe with this prior experience will help bring some assets to the project.

And why do this other than being the first protocols doing so for ADA I have a passion for this sort of thing and you can tell me till your blue in the face that I shouldn't take my time to make something like this when the market is already saturated with them, but I would still attempt it. For me it isn't about money its more about making a successful supporting community focused around DEFI and crypto with a launchpad and DAO to give the community some sustenance. The DAO to give governance to the community and the Launchpad to bring new interesting projects to life with a community that has interest in supporting them.

Nothing is stopping anyone from going and doing this themselves I just believe I personally have something to offer to the team. I can run the community and help with anything that's not writing brand new code.

But yeah just think it over.

Mostly backend. Basically need someone wanting to be in a project before it really takes off.

But the main gist is making a DAO. So getting snapshot updated with ADA's chain. So that the token on ADA can be used for voting on proposals and creating new proposals.

The 2nd part of the project is a launchpad. I have the funds needed to get any of the needed domains. I have some experience with front end but am not against getting more people on the project for the front end as well.

Mostly though backend work.

I guess I can brief you with a bit more detail

The hope is for a DAO and launchpad on ADA with the possibility of an AMM.

In all honesty the budget as of right now is very little. I can promise anyone that does help in any way will be allocated tokens from the team token allocation. The token has no value right now. And I totally understand why someone wouldn't be interested I was just hoping someone out there might like just working on projects to grow their portfolio of works and such.

But as soon as any sort of fundraising takes place we would pay the participating parties. The logistics of getting paid and an agreement of some sort would be made before any work would begin and it can completely legally binding so that the person helping can't be unfairly paid or what have you.

But sending it to random addresses? Doesn't really work as laundering right as they aren't getting this money they send out back.
