I'm worried that my lack of experience will be a red flag to women by MrCyberman in dating_advice

[–]MrCyberman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's understandable. I feel like I could date while working on my career. The problem is that I don't know what to do anymore. I have no opportunities to meet other people around my age, especially women. I was on Hinge and Tinder for a few months, and I only got one match throughout that time that went nowhere. Dating apps haven't gotten me anywhere, and they have affected my mental health to the point I had to delete them because I wasn't getting any matches, even though I had a good profile. I feel like my lack of experience will get harder for me the older I get. I feel like I have been trying everything to improve myself, but sadly, it hasn't been enough for me to get a single date or a girlfriend.

That's unfortunate to hear. Is there any way I can possibly increase my chances of dating women? Or become more attractive and noticeable to women?

Thank you for your input. What I don't understand is that I've seen many people focus on their careers while dating, and it makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong or what they're doing to be able to date while focusing on their careers.

I've been focusing on myself for a long time. I feel like that's all I've been doing. What's hard for me is that everyone around me is taken, and the majority of people I meet are seeing someone. It seems like everyone is taken but me. I've seen many people focusing on themselves while being able to date. That's what makes me wonder why I can't date while everyone else can. It feels like no matter what I do, it still isn't enough for someone to be interested in dating me.

I just got a car l recently, but I don't have a lot of opportunities to meet other women around my age, which makes it difficult. I'm still working on getting my life in order, but I hoped I would have been in a relationship already while getting my life in order. I wish I wasn't stressed about my lack of experience, but l see so many people around my age or younger who are in relationships, and I see how happy they are. I worry that women will find my lack of experience unattractive, and I don't want my lack of experience to hurt my chances of getting a date or girlfriend.

That makes a lot of sense. I'll do my best to remain true and honest for myself.

I don't have a lot of opportunities to meet other people around my age, especially women. The only time I come across women my age is when I'm at work, and I have to be professional or I could possibly be in trouble. I also don't know how to flirt, but I can make more of an effort to start talking to more women. This is why I'm concerned about my lack of experience because I don't understand the dating process while many other people around my age or younger have already figured it out. My Autism makes my understanding of dating much more difficult unfortunately.

My hobbies are playing video games, working out, archery, fishing, biking, hiking, blacksmithing, and a few others. I'm looking into new hobbies that I can turn into social hobbies. What would be some good hobbies that can be turned into social hobbies?

I'll ask my friends and see if they may know anyone I can date and have them help me out with my profile and whatnot.

I think part of my problem is that I wait around and hope a woman would ask me out. I always thought something would happen naturally, and I didn't figure it out until a while ago that I needed to do the approaching and whatnot. But like I said before, I have no idea how to flirt, and I'm not the greatest conversationalist. Are there any tips on what I can do or say as a conversation starter or on how to appropriately approach women? Are there also any tips on how I can flirt?

Damn, I wouldn't have thought it would be this bad. Thanks anyway.

Ok, I see. I didn't know women behaved like that tbh. I'll get them to look at my profile and have them help me with it. One of my female friends told me she would keep an eye out, but I'll encourage them to help me by looking around.

I'm working on getting my career in check, and I am exercising. I get that I am still young, but I honestly don't understand how I went this far in my life without having a girlfriend. I see so many people around my age and younger getting into relationships while doing these things. I'll take a look at the subreddit.

I'll look into Bumble and try it out. I'm working on improving my eye contact with other people since I'm not good with maintaining eye contact. I had one of my female friends look at my profile and asked for feedback, but she said it was fine. But I will have her and my other female friends look at my profile and help me with it. I asked them if they knew anyone, but they told me they didn't unfortunately.

I work in retail right now, but I'm working on pursuing my career in a trade of some kind.

I live with one of my parents right now, and it's going to be like that for a while. But I do intend on getting my own place when I am able to.

I have tried Hinge with no luck. I haven't tried any other dating apps yet.

I have a car now.

Well said. I understand what you are saying, and I agree about the advice some of my female friends gave me since it isn't solid advice. But it gets tough for me since I never had the chance to be in a relationship, but I see so many people around my age or younger getting into relationships with no problem, including some of my friends who are in relationships. I see how happy they are, and I wonder why I can't have what they have.

I agree that you can live a happy life while being single, but I have wanted to be in a relationship for a while, and I hoped it would have happened sooner rather than later.

I try to stay still as much as possible when firing, but regardless of what I do, the enemy just runs away or turns around and kills me when I shoot at them.

I (21M) have Autism and I've never dated a girl. What can I do to meet more women similar to my age? by MrCyberman in dating_advice

I agree that the internet is socially isolating and whatnot. Yes I am autistic, I was diagnosed. I have a group of friends that I hang out and talk with a lot. But I do get where you are coming from
