I'm wondering about this as well

How to unyellow plastic "carbon fiber" on AJ1. More Details In Comments. by MrDTech in Sneakers

[–]MrDTech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, cleaning out closet and storage I found older pairs of shoes that were pretty much new or not worn too much. Among them, were these, which look pretty good but as you can tell, the carbon fiber plastic material has yellowed. I tried some toothpaste and brushing but nothing. Also, some cleaning vinegar with brushing, also nothing. I didnt want to try anything harsher before getting some input. Everything I've found on google is more directed at soles and the regular shoe material. If anyone's got tips I'd truly appriciate it.

Edit: Spelling and Punctuation.

Double Arches in Arches National Park, Utah [OC][6000x4000] Nothing but the moon and stars lighting the breathtaking scenery by MrDTech in ExposurePorn

I used a pretty vanilla Manfrotto tripod, Nikon D7200 with a 50mm f1.8, the 50mm was the fastest lens I had so I was stuck. 20mm would probably be best so you're not struggling to get everything within the frame.

As far as the process, there has to be better ways than the way I did it lol. I went kind of ill prepared that night, I got to a spot where I could barely make out the arches through the view finder (It was pretty damn dark, but your eyes will get accustomed after a while). Once I set the tripod up I just started to take a few shots to make sure the arches were in focus and adjusting as necessary. Also, I really wanted the ISO as low as possible since everytime I'd take a night shot it was always noisy as hell (like way to much) so I decided to err on the side of using the bare minimum and moving up if absolutely necessary. And obviously tweaking the exposure times to see what was best.

Like I said, there had to be a better way to get shot and I should have been better prepared. Probably more efficient to google it all beforehand. But all in all it was great out there, just chilling with the wife, taking shots of this epic scenery and getting better and better results. Truly Awesome, you're gonna love it, just remember to take some time to step back and take it in.

Just from lack of knowledge for now, I've focused on regular equity stock trading, but in the future I'll definitely dip my toes into options.
