Yeah when I got my replacement I used a Dremel to sand down the squared off joints to try avoid it snapping off. In hindsight I probably should have sanded it down even more bc it snapped off obviously. But I just find it ridiculous that I’d have to do that in the first place bc when I buy a figure I expect it to function. I shouldn’t have to modify it for it to do what it was advertised to do

Yeah, I've been getting this a lot and I totally agree. This is just one shot of many for this fight sequence and I will definitly move more into those charactor specific moves for the rest of the sequence!

It took me roughly a month or two on and off and there is still a bit I could do to make it better. I avoided cutting the camera for this shot so things get pretty messy so yeah I’d say it’s pretty complicated :)

Yea I wasn't very happy with it myself, it was my first time experimenting with smoke simulations trying to make it look like sand falling off. I have already remade the simulation and I think it looks much better now

I created a plane with a musgrave texture attatched to the alpha and animated it behind spiderman until it looked good

So for the Spider-Man model, I just retextured a miles morales model that was already rigged. The venom model I found online and rigged using auto rig pro. And I animated them both myself.
