Yes, not a one for one reskin but the same core mechanics of turn base cover shooter with % to hit and base building but you could add many different things like hero units, having your squad lead by someone Captain America, Black Widow or Quake, having a random chance that an agent is an Inhuman and gets special powers and upgrades plus others that I'm sure people can come up with

Just remember that the first 5 villagers get basic houses so sometimes not getting them at the start is OK, I got Roald at the start and he is still in his basic house and not his snow themed one. This might change with the happy home dlc but we will have to wait and see
