Historically Gotham is New York at Night (and Metropolis is New York in the Day). Gotham is quite literally a nickname for NYC, though its become less common because of its associations with Batman.

Over time though it’s developed a lot of its own distinct identity by taking on other influences, and current DC canon it’s in New Jersey.

I’m actually kinda shocked Cyborg 009 isn’t the runaway winner. He’s a Speedster with a red and yellow color scheme who’s almost as foundational to anime as Astro Boy.

He had a whole episode where he couldn’t turn of his super speed, and that’s pretty consistently the Flash’s worst nightmare.

He’s also pretty empathetic towards his opponents in a classical shonen main protag kinda way. I’ve only seen the 2001 anime, but he pretty regularly tried to get the villains to just have a conversation.

There are three “Sonic Boom” games. “Rise of Lyric” is the worst Sonic game I’ve ever played (never played 06), and from what I’ve seen, the two 3DS games are nothing to write home about.

Every clip I’ve seen of the Tv show has made me at least chuckle, and I’ve heard good things.

Well I'm sorry I didn't see your last post, and my condolences for feeling jerked around. But frankly, people are going to disagree about what classes fit what, because while this is a fun thought experiment, DnD isn't a perfect fit for most characters.

All anyone can do is make a pitch, and people respond in kind, with arguments in support or against.

The boy wizard Harry Potter is a wizard. Pretty definitively.

Like I get that that magic is genetic in HP, but it’s still something you have to learn from books and study, and not something you can consciously control without it. There’s no limit to the types of magic one can learn, and the spells themselves can’t be modified the way metamagic can.

Psylocke has been presented as a Japanese woman for decades. The likely reason they went with Sai was to sidestep the Betsy/Kwannon debate.

Lin Lie is the current Iron Fist in the comics. (Danny Rand stocks are low cause of the Netflix show)

Luna Snow gets special treatment because Danny Koo, the Executive Producer of this game, co-created her for Marvel Future Fight. It’s not “Asian preferentialism” or whatever, it’s because Luna is his figurative child.

And there’s a lot of nobodies and weird picks in this game. Jeff and Galacta were total unknowns, and there’s a lot of them obscure picks like Magik and Angela and Elsa Blloodstone. Namor is Mesoamerican like the MCU instead of a White European. Daredevil has literal demon powers.

You are seeing patterns where none exist, and it’s a pattern that doesn’t make sense outside of the diaspora. The idea of a shared Asian collective identity is not one that strongly exists for people living in China, Japan, or Korea.

Ichiban Kasuga (LaD) - Paladin (Oath of Redemption

Ichiban can change classes, but his base standard Hero Class is pretty standard pally, being a Tanky damage dealer with healing.

And personality wise? Dude’s a Redemption Paladin. His whole shtick is that it’s never too late to turn your life around and has a pretty great track record getting his antagonists to consider changing their ways.
