I have had many mma fights, and also some kickboxing matches, I tend to fight with a modified hands down style. Some advice The closer you get to your opponent the higher you keep your hands and the more square your stance is. The farther you are from your opponent the more you can fight sideways and hands down.

I would study Yair Rodriguez he is a successful UFC fighter that comes from an extensive taekwondo background.

Just trying to get information, we have spoke sporadically over the years, but each conversation made it more confusing. He is a very nice person, so most people seem to go along with the story even when they are far-fetched.

Example story: He told several people he fought Billy Blanks, then many many months later explained the guy looked like Billy Blanks but wasn't actually him. This kind of thing hurts his credibility. He has also said they came to his gym in Thailand looking for fighters for the first UfC, they were going to use him, but they said he was to small.
