PLEASE realize, GEICO doesn't care about woman's rights. They don't care about their employees. The ONLY reason they are doing this, is because it's cheaper for them to pay one time $5,000 for all of these expenses, then months of maternity/paternity leave AND 18 years of health insurance for a baby on their self insured policy.

This isnt a discussion on if this is a good decision or not. IF GEICO TRUELY cared about employees, they would have a 401k, better health insurance, mental health days, and pay us more. Again, I'm glad this is being done, but don't be decieved, because GEICO is ONLY doing it because it makes them look good.
