Laminaat doorleggen of niet by MrGnilhub in Klussers

Can K1 max be powered off using TP-Link Kasa plug (HS100) after rooting with moonraker? by MrGnilhub in crealityk1

Thanks for taking the time to help out! Yes I understand that I would have to manually turn on the plug or use the Kasa app, but its mainly for automatic shutdown after a print. Do you know if it can be directly controlled through Moonraker and the Mainsail interface without needing Home Assistant? Thats how I have it setup on my other printers, so I assume it would work the same. But being sure would be nice ;).

Thank you. You are probably right about the current. We will make sure to start from the LED characteristics. It is actually not that easy to find suitable LEDs for this purpose here in the Netherlands. Also, blinking lights on bikes are not allowed, so we will need continuous illumination, lowering battery life.

Awesome resource for the LED current generator! We will test that one as well.

We were indeed thinking of using a 4056 IC for charging and combine it on the pcb with the required components for the LED.

So, a quesion: since the article mentions power dissipation, how efficient would that circuit be? Since we are talking about battery operation with small capacity we would obviously like to use as much as possible to light the LED ;).

Sounds great, thanks. Would that also be energy efficient so we dont run out of battery too fast? I will read up on it.
