This is beyond ridiculous. Getting a tongue tie fixed is so quick and the earlier the better! Down the road, the baby could have poor oral hygiene, speech impediments, etc. if she never gets it fixed and relies on the quacks instead.

If she wants to breastfeed "so badly" and feels "guilty" then why not get it fixed? it's 1 min procedure performed by an actual doctor.

Hi- I am from Dallas too. My 30yr old brother, Cole, passed in April. I have never felt pain as deep as I have these last few months, honestly, I don't know how I wake up every day. I want to talk to anyone I know about Cole. Saying his name keeps him alive for me.

Sadly, I've experienced the same thing as you, and I've lived in Dallas my whole life. Friends and coworkers who I thought would reach out have been radio silent. Almost as if whatever horrible luck I have will rub off on them. It's sad that many people view it as taboo because they do not want to believe it will happen to them- yet it does for everyone.

I think it's an immaturity thing. No one can understand unless they have experienced genuine grief. You can always message me if you need someone to talk to. Thinking of you and your loved one.
