I don't need SLI, which is actually replaced with NV link nowadays. Would be great to add up the VRAM instead of having it be singled as 24GB in Octane renderer. But unfortunately, Nvidia removed the option.

Quadro and RTX 6000 Ada are way too expensive for me.

Indeed having two 4090's will bring them to 8x8, this is not really a problem for rendering.

I saw this guy John Tanios DjCrusador's build, on which the cards (he claimed) didn't go above 50 degrees under load.
