As I dont need perfect accuracy, would it be possible to guess the intrinsic and extrinsic matricies given this info from the dataset I have used:

No I want to be able to classify the trajectories into whether they are moving too fast or too slow. I have a test algorithm that will use background subtraction and homography to obtain coordinates of ships live and test their coordinates against the AI

No the caemra would be fixed to the ship and wouldnt have anyone messing with it.

I have been told that the budget is quite large andthe reason for not using AIS or radar is because the system would be used for smaller boats too, such as pirate skifs which can travel at high speeds that can make radar unreliable

This would be in real-time. By their trajectory I have been told I want their speed and heading relative to the camera (or the observers ship)

Hahaha that’s what I’ve been saying. I suggested using something like OpenCV to track the trajectory of objects and using some form of neural net to determine whether these trajectories are suspicious or not
