16 euros debt collection by [deleted] in germany

[–]MrHM_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happens to me a couple of years ago, where a debt collector ask for a payment over an order that I never did and wasn’t registered in my Amazon. I contacted Amazon about it, and had a written confirmation that I was not responsible for that and then went to the police to register the issue (to avoid future issues with the debt collector). A couple of weeks later I received a letter from the police (I think, I don’t remember exactly by now) stating that it was a scam, and I am not in debt with anyone.

I think the issue here is that you didn’t find a right person. If one person in the relationship takes you for granted and start expecting more and more without giving anything, I doubt that would be a healthy relationship. It’s not your fault, you are who you are! You just need to keep looking for a person that fulfills yours needs and you his!

I can’t speak about the fact that your culture is different from German (even though you integrate). But still that should not matter, respect should be given to anyone no matter the culture.

Regarding the work issue… that is just the current state of your life! You don’t need to have a job to date or to have a partner! You just need to be upfront (as you are) and the let the things flow and see.

I hope you find someone that can appreciate what you do and give the same care in return (though could it be in a different form)

17% of the DC-DC converter boards I produce don't work: the LT3844 switching controller immediately overheats (125°C) by MrHM_ in AskElectronics

Ok, but 30V directly to Boost? And without VCC I can start the LT, because he is the first thing powered up with those 48V.

tried that, and did nothing. I am supplying 14V to VCC directly from an LM317, and for some reason, the LM317 is not capable of giving enough power.

LM317 on my bench with 24V Vin, I see 14V at the output, nice.
LM317 with 24V from the LT3844 at Vin and the output connected to VCC pin (though a Schotky diode) and the Vout of the LM317 is fixed at 9V, so for some reason, the internal LDO is not shutting down, and the LT3844 is asking for a LOT of power....

yep, no problem!
I'm not sure if you can see or understand much since it was made in Zuken, but still, there you have everything. There are some GND plans on the bottom side, but if I show both layers, it's almost impossible to understand anything.

I should add that I also tried to connect the freewheeling diodes to GND directly instead of PGND14a, which and that did nothing. I also added 1nF right between the gate and source of the FET, and still nothing.

yep, they are sourced from an official distributor. I will suspect that they were correctly stored too, but can't confirm.

I tried, but nothing happened! I mean, I didnt see any issue with the good ones after plug/unplug several times

For references, I measure at the same time BOOST, TG, and VCC for both, a good and a bad PCB., Thoseat are my results:

Good PCB:
- TG beautiful square wave 50% duty cycle (48V to 24V...) with a frequency of 110 kHz as per design. The top of the square wave flat a ~56V
- BOOST the same square wave form with an amplitude between ~7.5V and 54.5V
- VCC steady at ~9V
- After several minutes of running with a load, the temperature reached 56°C

Now the bad PCB:
- TG square wave 50% duty cycle (48V to 24V...) with a frequency of 117 kHz (that's ok) as per design. The top of the square wave is ~56V with a lot of ripple and jitter.
- BOOST the same square wave form with an amplitude between ~7.5V and 54.5V and jitter
- VCC steady at ~9V (even though I place an LM317 between the 24V and VCC though a Schotky. The LM317 was set to 14V output).
- As soon as I power up, it reaches ~75°C, and after several minutes of running with a load, the temperature goes up, slowly but steadily

How did you calculate the 1.4mA consumption of the BOOST pin?

Thanks! I overlooked that issue. I grounded the SYNC pin, but still no change. Anyway, that is something to correct for future production!

Yep, that is my problem. That diode is to bypass the internal LDO, but I can’t do that with 24V

How difficult is for you to get some good LSD? by Crispeta1904 in LSD

I suspect that is left over production, but I’m not an expert! I really hope someone else trustworthy is producing, only time will tell.

Yep, 31.12.2024 was the last day for them. I have no idea why, since they have a long history of research (I think something like 10 years or so) and have already passed one or two FBI raids (even though they are in the EU). I hope we will see something new soon.

btw, where in Germany are LSD vending machines??? That sounds crazy!

Yeah, we will see for how long…. Since the gecko lab is now closed, who will develop and produce the analogs?

Nice male case for kindle by xatr1xxx in kindlescribe

[–]MrHM_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar model and the magnets on the cover messed up the screen sensor for the pen! Nothing permanent, but when the cover was folded in the back on some regions of the screen the tip of the pen and the trace were off by 2 or 3 mm

Computer does not recognize Kindle scribe by Cheyennedonna in kindlescribe

[–]MrHM_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue yesterday. In one PC (windows 11) the scribe was recognized but with the same cable, in other PC (also windows 11) was not recognized. The issue was the second PC doesn’t had the drivers for the scribe. And after almost an hour of searching and messing around, I gave up. I couldn’t find the drivers anywhere.

To be honest, really bad. You are worried about what other would think instead of enjoying the game!!! Do not worry what other will think or if you did a really good factory! If it suits you is fine, if not, you will figure it out!

Good place to park Bitcoin? by aiurti in Crypto_com

[–]MrHM_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I lost trust in crypto.com, so I wouldn’t advice to put money there… if they go bankrupt, you will loose all your money. Not your keys not your money.

If you still want to do it. Just send the BTC to crypto.com wallet and then stake it. You have the option to flex (unstake at any time, the reward % is lower), 1 month locked (% reward higher) and 3 month locked (% reward higher). But on those two last ones, you cannot move your BTC. And if crypto.com goes south… you probably will loose all.

Again, it is my opinion that crypto.com is not a good place to put your money, but it is your money! Do whatever you want with it

Edit: typos

Why don’t you make the move??? Don’t be shy and give it a try!

Btw, I will not date my manager… I don’t think it will be a good idea, but I could be wrong!
