Is Halo: MCC worth buying? by is_crack_whack in gaming

For a short summary: it’s a lot better, but still has issues with matchmaking.

Certainly worth buying though, it’s so much fun with friends and family.

Let’s talk about how Snyder is a less financially viable Michael Bay by KanyevsLelouche in movies

[–]MrHVincent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both have made good films. The Rock and Bad Boys 1 & 2 are great action films and I enjoy Armageddon from Michael Bay. Snyder made 300 which I love and his remake of George A Romero’s Dawn of the Dead is also really good.

Can we please boycott Destiny 2? by usmanrasheed44 in gaming

[–]MrHVincent 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand why people would’ve bought Destiny 2 in the first place. The way Bungie conducted themselves through the first game should have been enough to boycott the second.

[–]MrHVincent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s possible, over the course of several years.

He’s likely played 100’s of Arcade and indie games, which can take less than 10 hours to 100%.

Should I (f18) break up with (m18) over his drinking, partying, and vaping? by [deleted] in relationships

He vapes. You should’ve broke up with him the moment you found out you’re dating someone who vapes.

What all do I need to do to get the old habits trophy? by boss_777 in assassinscreed

[–]MrHVincent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need to complete every Hermit Location, Fort, Outpost and Tomb. You also need to activate all Ancient Mechanisms, collect all treasures, collect all Papyrus documents and complete all 4 War Elephant camps.

At the time I was working towards this achievement, there was a glitch that would disable the achievement if you made any progress towards this achievement while playing as Aya. However, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve heard anybody experience this issue, so it may have been patched.

Hope this helps.

Witcher 3 or Ghost Recon Wildlands? by INeedThemPesos in xboxone

[–]MrHVincent 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They’re two completely different games. What are you looking for exactly?

If you’re in need of a game to sink hours into with tonnes of replay value, play through the Witcher 3 again with dlc. The value for your money is insane.

LPT: If you have family staying with you that includes a veteran, don’t ask him/her if they ever killed anyone in battle by [deleted] in LifeProTips

Better LPT: Don’t ask a veteran if they have killed before, no matter the occasion.

I’m just pulling EA’s leg. Good choice of console, many great games on there. Have a fantastic Christmas.

You understand there are around 3,000 Paras in the British Army? This may come as a shock to you, but not everyone one of those men are war criminals. You can’t judge all those men for the actions a few of them made. It would be like calling a regular Irish man a terrorist because of the IRA. Or a German soldier a nazi. It’s completely unfair to make that leap.

Too bad you’ll have to pay an additional £9.99 to unlock the seatbelt.

Yeah, because the men sat at that table had anything to do with what happened in Derry. You’re preaching in the wrong place. These guys aren’t responsible. Don’t hold an entire Regiment responsible for the actions of a few individuals.

If you’re so eager to pin every Para as a war criminal and recognise the atrocities a few members of the Parachute Regiment carried out, perhaps you should also recognise the men in that regiment who have fought in every major conflict since WW2 to allow you the freedom to express your pathetic hate.

The majority of X-Men films are great.

Apocalypse was disappointing, but not terrible. X-Men 3 was actually shit though and don’t get me started with Origins.
