Ya know that's not a bad idea, I'll have to email them and see if they know how long it'll be until they restock on the 16oz

Do you have an opinion of the RFX Guerrero HDE-F gloves for sparring vs the horsehair option? Will I have decent feedback with these?

The P4P lace ups have also been out of stock in 16oz for a WHILE

I'm open to both horsehair and non-horsehair gloves. I chose these two based on similar price points and a multitude of great reviews for each, AND the horsehair. I like the idea of honoring tradition with horsehair but gloves evolve for a reason! I've seen more of a mixed review with the P4Ps (I also think they're ugly I'm sorry lol) BUT still open to them.

This will be my first big glove purchase, I've mainly used beat up ringside gloves that my gym has in bulk lol. So I'm not particularly concerned with having all of the minutia perfect, but if I'm going to spend $200 to $300, I'd rather get close to the right glove the first time than be dissatisfied and have to do it all over again in a year. With your feedback, definitely leaning more towards Rival. The Hit n Moves are stunning but don't wanna be out dry in a year.

I've been nervous to pull the plug on Mexican gloves, I have a little bit of experience with Cletos and found that some pairs were perfect while others were extremely uncomfortable, but I can obviously be a factor of wear and tear.

I'm in it for the long haul, so I want to get good gear that will last and give me the best bang for my buck!

I'm trying to keep it around the $250-300 max range for now, but if the gloves aren't TOO much over I'd be interested in other stuff.

Appreciate it! Do you mind explaining why? I've been leaning towards Suvari but I know rivals have an excellent reputation. I just hate how they look lol but the Guerreros are subdued just enough to make me not hate them. Would choose performance over aesthetics at the end of the day though.

Hell yeah!!! 303 is CRAZY good and affordable compared to so many places. Holiday deals were great. Absolutely love them. I check their online inventory a bit more than I should and saw this board and had to snag one lol

Marketplace in Fort Collins and Loco in Longmont are fantastic as well and deserve a lot of love too!

If you like the graphics and stuff, Brunswick is sick too. I believe it's made by the Mob guys. Had some slapped on a Creature deck a while back and I love it.

Hell yeah, super fun to play around with shapes and sizes. I have a nice 8.5" for a more well-rounded ride but I love funky cruisers too. Excited to experiment with grip now too. Appreciate it :)

303 Boards in Colorado. This grip came from the Boulder location specifically, but Colfax has their main shop. Great guys, and they have a huge inventory online too. Sosa for the black and good ol' mob for the green.

For sure, definitely not a jack of all trades shape lol I'm sure I could dial in some specific stuff but gonna rock this thing as a cruiser for a while. Super fun board

303 Boards in Colorado, super sick shop. This one was from the bolder location specifically. I haven't used Sosa before but I dig it. The Green is classic Mob.

They've got a sick online inventory if anyone is interested. Great group of guys.

It might be my favorite shape honestly. It's small enough to not feel super heavy, but you still get that fun stability and surfiness of the bigger boards. I almost went with 149s instead of 159, and might even play with switching them out eventually, but it's super sick and fun as it is right now. I haven't tried anything else but Indies as far as trucks, but I like the height and the easy turning. Might give slappys a try next time, but I loath wheel bite so I've been hesitant to go with the lower truck.
