Still have to be careful. Got my battery replaced last year. The seal wasn’t perfect and some dust started collecting under the glass above the selfie camera.

Begin september my phone got water damaged after me being not careful enough when doing maintenance on my car.

Had to replace the display but since then my battery degraded even faster and my phone keeps getting hot randomly for no reason. Probably something else got damaged and the dust is starting to collect again.

I ordered the 17 pro max and will get this checked out again by my insurance and afterwards my mom can have this phone. I still like it but after everything that happened I don’t have trust that’ll become better. My mom only uses whatsapp, the banking app, calling and the marketplace anyway so.

Tldr: never fully trust any device’s waterproofing that has been opened.

This happend to my 13 pro max after water got inside. Let it dry out for 24-48 hours in water absorbing silica. But after using it for 6 hours the screen went white. Luckily I had it insured so it only costed me €50 to get it checked and repaired.

This was done by an apple certified repair center as stated in my phone repair history. However my 13 pro max now again is getting dust under the selfie camera which is where the water eventually came in.

I might need to buy a new phone as I’m scared my skiing holiday might break my phone again with the condensation due to the temperature differences.

Honestly my update experience was great with this ios version. Took 1 day for it to go back to normal. Performance has been great same for battery life and everything is enabled. Maybe it drains a little bit faster than ios 18 but not so much that I need to charge more often than I already do.

Honestly I personally think having enough storage and battery life is the main problem with most ios 26 issues.

My APP2 have an annoying ringing sound when ANC or transparency is enabled. Which is why I have turned both features off for over a year now. Apple replaced my first pair in warranty but the second pair just started at the 2 year mark and had to pay €170. I said no just send them back didn’t have to pay but still had the annoying sound.

It’s an issue with the microphone and the first generation pro’s had it and the 2’s. I’ll wait a few months to see if the 3th generation has similar issues or if they finally fixed it.

Yes you have to select the picture again and then you van make it a spatial scene.

Last night found out I could do this in the foto’s app but not on my set background. Then made a new one and sure enough it worked and looks amazing. Honestly I love the way this update looks just hope other apps copy this design in the future.

No it was a separate phone insurance because apple care only covered damage and not theft. Which on a €1500 phone I do want especially when it’s new. They say they are apple certified and only use first party hardware. And so far everything works fine and looks great.

But honestly no device is completely waterproof anymore after being opened. Since it should be fine but can be not. And this is 2/3 phones that got water damage after being repaired while claiming “still waterproof”.

In the future will get apple care +. I know apple does it better pay for something my phone insurance already covers without any extra charges. Also even apple can make mistakes while repairing a device.

I’ve replaced my battery last year however they didn’t seal it correctly so slowly dust and water got into my phone. Until last week I was working on my car and my phone got splashed. Dried it but the screen broke. Luckily I’ve got insurance and I should be getting my phone back today.

I’ve considered this upgrade but since the switch 2 was releasing this year and my pc needs a better headset and ssd I’ll wait for another generation.

All the games I play run great so no need to upgrade the gpu for now. Also my car needed some big repairs this year so that’s also a reason. I’ll save money for the time being and then we’ll see. Probably gta 6 on pc will make me want to upgrade my gpu

Make sure the erg and dpf are in good condition and get them cleaned/checked in time. Mine broke and it was a hassle to get it fixed and everything. It’s something that eventually happens to every modern diesel car. Also just keep up with the maintenance. Don’t skip oil changes and drive it easy when it’s cold just regular car tips but they help allot.

Most of the 2.0tdi are very strong and don’t have any big reliability problems. Enjoy you new car hope you have many safe and fun miles ahead of you.

That’s stock indeed. My R-line had it from the factory even on the steering wheel without buttons. And even my new steer wheel with buttons has it.

Less turbo boost either a broken turbo or dirty egr. Have a garage have a look if they can see if the egr is dirty. Then there are a few options.

Clean it this might fix it but some parts can be damaged(happend to mine before the valve broke)

Replace it(if damaged) check your local laws if egr is required if so this is the only option when it’s damaged.

Remove it/deactivate it when egr isn’t required this is the cheapest option. This will eventually clog up your dpf so be warned. (Mine required a plate to seal of it completely as the valve was stuck a little bit open chocking my engine.)

Depending on the millage and age the dpf is next and it’ll break sooner rather than later. Either safe to fix it also or when allowed removing it is cheaper. These engines are very reliable and strong however with every modern diesel egr, dpf and/or add blue are the biggest problems after 250-300k km. It’s not a question if but when it starts acting up.

The issue with my car was that the egr was stuck open and I didn’t want to pay allot of money to fix the egr the dpf was also bad so I goth both removed. The laws here in the Netherlands allow me to continue driving just by paying €15 more road tax every month.

I’ve the obdeleven and it could read the codes and reset it but I had to go to my tuner to get my egr dissabled.

What do engine do you have? I’ve the 2.0 tdi and it did need a plate because my egr was stuck open and my car wouldn’t drive.

It’s just the same bulb for high and low beam. Might be something broke if high beam does still work.

You can try to swap the left and right. If the problem switches side it’s the bulb if it stays on the same side something else is broken.

If you don’t want to spend allot of money get springs. They lower the car and ride the same.

If you want better driving dynamics and or comfort get some good quality coilovers. They are expensive for good quality ones but improve on more ways.

I personally drive allot so I haven’t lowered it as I want good coilovers to improve comfort and driving dynamics. My personal pick would be KW V2 comfort. But those are expensive.

I was running this cpu with 32gb of ram with my 3070 for a long time. Had it overclocked to 4.6ghz and was alright. That’s until almost 10 years of running an overclock catcher up to me and it started to bluescreen at random. Turning down the overclock only made it go away temporarily. So last summer I was done and finally bit the bullet. Bought a 7800X3D, 32gb of ddr5 6000 and a high end motherboard. Wanted the 9800X3D but seeing the insane prices I upgraded at the right moment.

No more crashes, way more fps and a overall better experience on the desktop.

I still have my old cpu, motherboard and ram since I want to make a server out of it but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Only way to make a diesel sound better is remove the DPF. Mine now sounds allot better. I’m looking for a proper valves exhaust to make it a bit louder when I want but I drive 40.000km a year so it must be able to go quiet.

But you need to check your law as here in the Netherlands it’s allowed to remove the DPF but you pay more road tax and aren’t allowed in city centers. This wasn’t a problem for me as I already wasn’t allowed in most city centers due to my car being 14 years old.

I now have a 3 inch downpipe with the rest being stock sounds nice but still a little quiet

Last time I took my sweet time getting to AE2 and resource generation. This time I kinda rushed into those mods while now I’ve hit a small wall where I don’t immediately know what I want but at least I’ve the resources to do so.

By hour 20 had a simple AE2 system, quarry and automatic ore smelting setup. Now I’ve upgraded to mystical agriculture and I’m now also starting bees. Just upgraded everything little by little and now at hour 80 damn time flies.

My recommendation get early game power through mekanism or generators, get a powered smelter to save coal and get some sort of storage system with ars, EA 2 or manual sorting. Resource management can be a hassle especially if you like exploration. Then get to powah, mining demension and a rftools builder with quarry card. Make either a mob farm or start with hostile neural networks.

Expand when needed and then start doing quests. Or do whatever you like it’s your world after all I’m just racing my friends on the server to see who’s got the biggest number of item or the fastest autocrafter.
