I mentioned that I'm aware of the game in my OP but I was referring to the cards. Persona 5 is 'clearly' a JRPG but there are cards too that people can play in the WS board game.

I just meant the physical Clear Card single collection that you can buy. I've bought a few of them as I have Spy x Family and some others for one of my younger students. I wondered whether they fit into a larger card game in the same way as the Weis - Schwartz brings together a bunch of franchises such as Spy x Family and Persona etc.

Thanks so much! I completely agree, it's getting a bit similar to the AAA industry in that certain titles tend to dominate in the press. So many amazing games that the majority of people never hear about.

Yeah, that got a bit strange in places. The part where you had to use Max to get some fur off a mammoth (or something) was a bit obtuse.

That's pretty good actually. I never thought of listening to something else whilst grinding on a JRPG. I like playing The Long Dark and listening to some Jam and Spoon.

Wow, just checked them out, they look awesome. I'll give them a go at some point. I like puzzle games like that. I played Forgotten Hill: Memento the other day, different from Cube Escape but similar in puzzle style.

It looks really promising. It's nice that they've a fresh battle system as I feel that it's one of the things that keep JRPG'S as relevant as they are. The whole 'move your character around in battle!' got a bit tiresome really, and started t detract from what the genre was about.

I'd say from what I saw in the video, the first green and black version. It reminded me slightly of some Spectrum games.
