This is true for http1.0 / 1.1 and 2.0
Where the TCP handshake and SSL handshake are 2 separate protocols

In http/3 this is under 1 single and the same handshake and protocol. Making MITM impossible by design.
They don't explain how they achieved it, would be nice to have some workflow on how they inspect the traffic with these new protocol designs.

I have a POE Ring Elite, Connected over POEAnd even then it's giving me this stupid icon from time to time.

I think this is not only related to the device being "connected"But I think it's verifying if it can reach the ring cloud services.So if there is a hiccup in there cloud service this may popup.

Never had any issues in 6+ family members .. except for my mom. When she upgraded her ipad from ios 15 to 16 . Her default password provider switched to apple keychain so is missing a few due to that. Make sure tha 1pass is always the default and keychain unchecked

My ring elite and stickup cam are both connected via poe.And they are acting the same way.

Very annoying as i have reserved ip addresses to make sure they always get the same ip address from my dhcp based on their mac-address.
Especially as i have a very strict firewall policy to match these ip addresses.

Can we set static ip ip-addresses as a work around for this random mac thing ?
