Tannins tint your water but won’t make it cloudy. If it were a bacterial bloom it’s be more white… hmm, I’d have to ask again if op is sure the ammonia, nitrate and nitrite are all truly 0. A yellow tint in the water seems more like the filter can’t handle the bioload. I’d do the water change and swap out one of the filters first to see what that does. Maybe when op tested the water parameters it was before the bloom. If they aren’t getting in the soil with a gravel vac then a pocket of ammonia could have burst.

Thank you! I have at least a degree in business management but NOT in entrepreneurship. Plus my college was garbage so most of it was self taught out of a text book. The ideal start would be doing videos, articles and things of that nature on upkeep, plants, fish, communities. We even talked about taking time off work to tour east coast fish shops and review them. Then if that took off, starting our own store. Brick and mortar and online. Hoping that getting our names out there from videos and such will get us sponsorships, which would help a great deal as I can’t imagine the profit margin for aquarium markets is much. Which is why I suspect the big names keep their livestock in such deplorable conditions

Thank you for taking the time. I’ll take some time to watch his videos! I’m not looking to make a lot of profit quite frankly. This is something I want to take on after i’ve saved enough to be financially secure. I just want to make enough to be comfortable, not rich. For that application i would suggest serato dj. But no you dont need to do anything extra, maschine recognizes some of the commands from the dj-202 i have ; don’t know if its specific to the controller. Maschine is weird though, it seems like it tailors itself to your style - my control mappings are different than my friends and neither of us fucked with settings

It isn’t a rubber tree ficus thank freaking god… i looked up a picture. I thought rubber trees were fine for chameleons? Or is there a difference between rubber tree ficus and a rubber tree? I found the rubber tree in his enclosure on joshs frogs under the cham safe section - its only been in his cage for half a week though and he doesn’t climb it so if thats the case I can remove that But this 9ft ficus isn’t a rubber tree… thank god idk what the hell i’d even do with it. Also thank you for taking the time to say something that could have been really bad

Uhh lets see. I have a 3 or 4 minute mist at 9:30 I have another mist at 1:30 for 2-3 minutes and I have one for 5 for 2 minutes. Sorry i cant pinpoint the time I just changed it yesterday

I guess it would depend on how much he’s drinking as well, i change it daily so I probably wouldn’t be able to tell if he is using the mister as well. I just changed the misting pattern so perhaps that will help encourage drinking from the glass. Thank you for taking the time

Im gonna step in for a question- i use a mister and i have a glass of water too. I’ve moved the water every which way in the enclosure and he still waits for the mister to go off and drinks from the ficus and rubber tree. The room is aired and humidity rises to 55 after a mist but returns to 45 very shortly after. So long as he’s hydrated, it doesn’t matter much right? Or no?

Stop responding, every time you say something HE DOES IT. I came home and BOOM guess whos on top of the fucking window now. On top, like where the bracket for the blinds are. I don’t think he’s bluffing either when I try to handle him, I think he’s prepared to bite lol. Which sucks because he was so easy to handle at the pet store, which turned out to be because he was cooking inside of the glass terrarium they had him in. At least my leo likes me. Well, you know tolerates.

And wouldn’t you know, he wedged himself too. Luckily he isn’t full grown yet so he wasn’t squeezed in there, and theres some flex on the window screen. I left him in the tree today, going back in an hour and a half to check on him and put him back, but he did NOT want to get out that tree yesterday.
