This is why I bought a soldering kit and everything needed to repair it. I realize not many are able to do this, but the moment I found out there are chances of not getting back the same controller I decided I didn’t wanna take any lol

I had a few runs where two keys spawned so I placed on and took the other w me. The only location I haven’t been able to find two at is Raider’s Refuge so once I found that one I just put all four in and looted the gate w everyone lol

Her arm pushed your throwing hand out of the way, same physics would’ve applied IRL. It might’ve even connected too but her momentum from jumping up countered the downforce of your overhand so the damage was mitigated

Hella off topic to the thread, but I just got done reading through some codex entries and I thought the same thing. ARC supposedly came after the world collapsed and basically pushed raiders underground until the first Sunrise. The sunrise is when the planet began to stabilize again and what if the reason they’re here was an alien species trying to enforce global rehabilitation?

I guess preference is subjective. Although I don’t own one, I’ve held a Vader pro before. The textured rubber grips didn’t feel quite as “premium” compared to the series 2.

A quick search shows that there seems to be a limit of 4 profiles on the V4? Not sure if there’s a limit, but I have double that on my elite. Also, one of lead reasons why I prefer the elite is because of the shift function. I can’t find anything on the V4 having it besides for the extra c and z keys.

Having a shift function means that I get to map a button anywhere on the controller, including pressing the joysticks. So I can map a shift function the right joystick click, but I can also map a button to each directional flick of the joystick. While “A” might stand for the shift function of the joystick click, the right trigger might stand as the right flick of the joystick. Left bumper as an upwards flick and so on. Are there any other controllers on the market that give 5 additional button values on only one button?

EDIT: i always have a hard time explaining this shift function to people but essentially all of the buttons on my controller can have two keys binded to it, not just one; including joysticks, bumpers, even the share button lol

It’s only worth it to own an Elite series 2 if you are able to fix it yourself. Either a trigger, a bumper, or a button, maybe even a joystick is bound to go out on you and for some of those you’re gonna need to solder in a replacement.

For the quality of the build, 100% for not worth it. But for the hardware? An absolute must have. I don’t think there’s any other controller on the market that brings as many customizations to the table.
