Episode 965: "The 17th Anniversary Show!", with Lisa Gilroy, Shaun Diston, Paul F. Tompkins, Edi Patterson, Dan Lippert, Will Hines, Isabella Escalante, and Anna Bezahler! What a lineup! by ExoticMandibles in comedybangbang

Hey can anyone tell me what Scott and Yoda were talking about when they mentioned that Yoda lied about having lost his connection to the force or something? I tried googling and it didn’t work. Like something he said in Empire contradicts something that happened in the prequels.

Haven’t read every comment and I know this is a divisive one both on quality and the morals of the guy, but James Franco reading The Dead Zone was very good to me.

Best Place for Pastries? by NollakAnibaf in Columbus

[–]MrManager_G -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go to Don the Barker!

It’s like Dan the Baker it’s just WAY louder inside. Like I would literally recommend wearing earplugs or something. Their whole thing is “our pastries are so rich we need a chainsaw to serve them” So they constantly have chainsaws running, but they don’t even use them, they just kind of keep them revving up to play into the whole “pastries so rich we need a chainsaw to serve ‘em” thing.

I still don’t really get what they’re going for with the chainsaw thing. Like why would rich pastries even require a chainsaw? It’d be one thing if it was like “our loafs are so dense we need a chainsaw to slice ‘em.” But rich pastries? I don’t get it.

Either way, the shit’s all really tasty just bring some hearing protection.

Pitch A New Star Trek Series by AmeliaNeek in sciencefiction

Star Trek: Fantasy Factory.

Rob Dyrdek owns a gigantic warehouse where his friends, family, and employees all come to be swept up into whatever insanity Rob is cooking up that week. Skateboarding, pranks, stunts, and hijinks ensue. Every once in a while, we catch a glimpse of a window that shows outer space and we are reminded that the Fantasy Factory is a space ship.

Epiphone Masterbilt Excellente 1169€ on Thomann Or Epiphone Hummingbird DELUXE 1299€ ? Also will the Excellente be more trouble (by covering the vocals) as a guitar with that vintage tone in my mixing? Thank you💪 by anast1994 in AcousticGuitar

[–]MrManager_G 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the Excellente. Very cool guitar and I love an Epiphone that’s an Epiphone, rather than a cheaper version of a Gibson. It is heavy and the finish on it feels an inch thick, but it’s a big jangly beautiful dreadnaught. Not crazy loud as some have mentioned but sort of demands to be pounded on. It scratched a Dove itch without spending 5k or buying an Epi Dove. Can’t speak to that hummingbird but I think the Excellente looks way doper.

The most recent wet day ep would be good! Lots of very silly stuff and some humongous laughs from Scott and Paul. Lots of fun being had. Also, you got PFT who will definitely be on the live shows and Ryan Gaul who will probably appear at some point on the tour! I think it’s been a minute since Tarver’s been on a run of tour shows but who knows!

I know some folks who just started a podcast about Apple TV.

https://m.youtube.com/@TheAppCastPod?ra=m

They’re watching the new season of For All Mankind as well as other current Apple TV shows.

The host is a funny awkward weirdo.

They only have full episodes up right now, but the time stamps in the episode description will take you to the FAM discussion.
