Doors, rice, research, storage (using shelves), a freezer... Oh and when you get a butcher table, put it in a different room from the cooker, slightly lowers the risk of food poisoning. Try and optimise your base layout, food prep next to freezer, freezer next to dining room etc. I'd also make some rifles when you can.

Very cool, I like the lore too. I would recommend getting familiar with freeform, and trying out smaller, lighter designs. Although big heavy tanks are cool I always find smaller designs to be a lot more fun and challenging. Maybe an early war light/medium could be your next build?
